Colin from Accounts. It’s on BBC iPlayer in the UK.

I ended up watching the first series over two nights and hope it finds an audience as I really want to see another one.

It was created by, and stars, Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall who were also involved in the original, Australian version, of No Activity (I've not seen the US remake). That was another brilliant show. Such a shame it’s not been released on DVD.

Just started The Night Agent. Just 3 episodes so far and really like it!!!

Update: Finished it off last night, 10 episodes and already renewed for S2. Great series and couldn't stop watching it!!!

Limited series so hopefully It'll wrap up after one season. Pretty decent so far.

EDIT: I can't believe I've wasted so much time with this piece of crap.

I finished BEEF and I really liked it, for a Netflix show. I think they could have gone a bit more radical in the road rage and the consequences. Love the actors and it is great for once to see some Asians as main characters.

Now I’m starting Mayor of Kingstown and that second episode is so shocking. Very intense. But I like it.

You know what?

This just isn't that good after all. It's the weirdest casting I've seen in awhile. The dad is white, the daughter is mixed(so far so good, right?) The son/lead actor is white but has a very noticeable Spanish accent. The villain is white with a Russian(?) accent. His sister is Asian with an American accent. The acting overall isn't that bad but I still can't get past the casting.

This is simply bad, period. It reminds me of a highschool play more than it reminds me of an actual TV show.

Currently (re)watching Star Trek: Enterprise (watched the originals as they aired), it made me think of this:

Enterprise was way better than people give it credit for. Especially that last, 4th season.

A mystery-thriller that is perfect for binge-watching is Archive 81. Film archivist Dan Turner (Mamoudou Athie) is enlisted to repair videotapes damaged in a puzzling flat fire in the present. For her documentary thesis project in 1994, film student Melody Pendras (Dina Shihabi) decides to focus on the tenants of the Visser flat.

Recently watched

Tulsa King - Was great, light hearted not very serious. Stallone is actually pretty decent in this.
Godfather of Harlem - S3 was just as good as previous seasons, not sure if there is a forth on the way.
Mayor of Kingstown - interesting concept, but thin story telling.
The Night agent - Good, some plot holes, still held me, female lead was also great.

Right now for me, it is this season’s Finding Your Roots. The entire series is phenomenal, but right now, Tia and Tamara Mowry’s (Sister, Sister) family history is amazing. a clip:

BL.

Just finished a couple of fluff pieces. One called Zegapain. Typical teenager piloting giant mecha to save the humanity with a twist--everyone is already dead. Enjoyable for what it is. The other noir fiction called No Guns Life. Think Dixon Hill with a revolver for his head.😵

Now I'm starting a series I've been anticipating for a month now: Monster. My daughter has been raving about it as I let her watch it first.

Mr InBetween - brilliant Aussie show available on Disney + here in the UK

One of the best shows I've seen in a long long time

3 seasons. Each episode around 25 mins so perfect to binge on over a few days

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll try it. There are amazing Aussies or Kiwi shows abd they just deserve more publicity. I can recommend Swift & Shift Couriers and Wellington Paranormal. Very funny.

You won't be disappointed !

I don't think it's available on Disney Plus in the USA though

Another great Aussie show I randomly started this evening is Colin from Accounts . Available on BBC iPlayer in the UK
