I loved 24 so much, I was so addicted when episode came out. This show was fantastic, I rewatched it twice. I’ll always remember PUT THE GUN DOWN & Damn it, Chloe!

Jut wrapped up the first episode, interesting, sadly very unoriginal so far, a carbon copy of all the films. But interesting characters, effects are so so, some good, some props look a bit cheap but it is made to a TV series budget. Overall it looks good. Saved money on future Earth that’s for sure as it hardly looks any different lol. Will see where it goes I guess.

Anyone else watch it?

Needed something good to watch again, so rewatched Earth 2.

Then I moved on to:

Took a little while, but after the first season, I love it (just like the movies and the "old" series).
Season 2 is coming, I'm hoping for a few more. Since Stone was in two episodes, I hope we can get Jones or Cassandra in season 2. Ideally, six season with a guest star from the old series in each season.

Anyone else watch it?
Waiting for the whole season, then binge it.

Just watched episode 2 of Alien Earth. I am liking it, the characters are REALLY well played, they did a very good job with the cast. I like the setting too, it isn’t all of Earth but something much more contained by the looks of it. Although this is only 2 episodes in lol.

Anyway I give it a recommendation.

And yes, I can safely say it feels like it IS One to binge watch, although looks like each episode is an hour long give or take.

Watching some cast interviews and the Alien is actually played by a guy on stilts, apparently he is really nice and a vegan lol… well he puts on a brilliant Xenomorph I’ll say that!

It's difficult, though not impossible, to deviate from the all-too-familiar rehashes (like the last Alien movie with the Gen Z or whatever cast).

I haven't gotten around to it, but I've read that after establishing the initial premise, the series does have its own take on the universe.

Noah Hawley's stuff is usually worth checking out, and Olyphant in the cast is also a positive (but I do also want to see more of Raylan Givens).

The first season of 24 was best, but the later seasons sort of veered into the parody-of-itself territory.

Being able to binge watch has its advantages, but Appointment TV (24, X-files, etc.) had the sense of anticipation that audiences now miss out on.

I would love to see an episodic series on Disney+ with Space Raylan...!

I grew up on "Appointment TV", but I kinda like binging stuff now...

Lasarus Project. Halfway through season 1 and love it. Unfortunately, it was cancelled after season 2 (which unfortunately ended with a major cliffhanger).

Needed something good to watch again, so rewatched Earth 2.

This series is well overdue for a re-watch.

But I need it to show up on a streaming service! (Hey, Amazon Prime, are you listening?)

Now, I do have the DVD boxset somewhere, but I've not had a DVD-player hooked up to the TV for 10-15 years...

BTW, I bought the box-set because the Norwegian broadcaster of this series managed to show it out of order, making it very confusing to watch...

Carnivàle. This remains the best show I’ve ever seen and although it never concluded (6 seasons were the pitch, in two season story arcs) it did get two seasons, so one of the arcs was completed.

The previews for season 2 showed Cassandra so you should get that.

Watching both episodes again today; really REALLY love this show!
