Catching season 2 of High Potential now. Clever, Kaitlin is easy on the eyes, procedural but with interesting plots all wrapped in each episode, enough team drama to add to the “case of the week” theme, and the kids are old enough to not be totally obnoxious and don’t appear in every episode but each has their own unique talents.

Also watching An Extra Slice, the program that follows each episode of The Great British Bake Off recapping and making fun of that show’s most recent showing and highlighting the eliminated baker. Comedian Tom Allen is, to us, hilarious, the games are in good fun, and pictures sent in by home bakers demonstrate skills that are both advanced and totally lacking, again all in good fun. Both enjoyable shows to watch if you’re into these kinds of reality shows, and far better than most competitors imo.

OMG. Hijack is coming back.

The first one was an ok summer miniseries, but wasn't expecting a second.

I like Idris, so I'll give it a go, but hope the writing gets better.

Just started watching Talamasca.
Wondering where I have seen this story before.
Oh, Sanctury
British woman of means tries to entice sceptical young brilliant semi-outcast to join her in working with non-human sentients

Chainsaw Man.

It's a guy with a chainsaw for a head and arms. If there's a story somewhere, I'm not paying attention to it. This anime is pure, visceral gore fest.

Just starting Mad Men, starting off a little slow. I've heard it's really good but so far, it's not impressing me after 6 episodes. I'll stick it out and see if it lives up to its reputation.

Just finished Peaky Blinders and its definitely worth a watch.

When it originally aired, I felt the same way and stopped. But for whatever reason, later started watching it again, until the end.

Put kindly, it's a study of character and existentialism. Not so kindly, it's a high-brow soap opera.

Since the show ended, it has become better known that Weiner is a grade-A(hole), however great the show was.

Ok, so the copyright for the Sherlock Holmes stories has expired.
Consequently a number of new 'spin-off' stories based on SH, such as Watson are springing up.
The latest one is Sherlock & Daughter. This one is surprisingly interesting, and, I think, worth your time.
I like Sherlock and Daughter this far, after 1st ep - it have potential.

Definitely has soap opera vibes. Season 2 does seem a little better.

I enjoyed it, hoping for a second season (but have not even looked online to see if it might get one or not), and I find it refreshing that I can look at the Sherlock character and NOT see Remus Lupin...! ;^p

The beauty of Mad Men is the character development from season to season. It's one of the best shows in this regard.

Ok so finished Slow Horses, I thought this was a bit weaker this season, but the teaser trailer for next season looks brilliant!

So, a kind of Blue Bloods Lite?

Minus all but one of the cast (rising salaries on long-running shows can be a killer), and shot in Toronto, so it's cheaper.

As a Tom Selleck fan, who got sucked into BB, which would have otherwise been outside my wheelhouse, I'll have to check it out. Danny Reagan annoying a bunch of different people.

It also kind of scratched the old itch from the Sipowicz and Simone days.

Blue Bloods was better in my opinion.
