Pluribus on AppleTV is just brilliant and just so clever.

I'm waiting until the first season is complete before watching. As as former X-files fan, and BB/BCS watcher from day 1, I hope not to be disappointed, and don't think I will be.

Still on my Jack Bauer rewatch. Finished with season 3, loved it. Although the b-stories are laughable…thank goodness there is Jack Bauer!!

Jack would have had it much easier if CTU wasn't staffed by flunkee red shirts rejected by Starfleet.

…I did do well in “Diffie-Q” in college…
Aaah, this brought back memories! I got (temporarily) hooked on Diff-E-Q early on in the class due to a problem in the text, authored by Ralph Agnew…still have the textbook. It was “The Snow Plow” problem and required some basic differential equations to yield the correct discrete answer. Without those equations one just goes “Huh?” This is the problem, and oh yeah, show your work:

It is snowing at a heavy and constant rate.
A snow plow begins plowing a road at noon. By 1:00pm, it has plowed two miles. At 2:00pm, the plow has plowed another mile.
What time did it start snowing?

Entering pedantic mode...

If one is watching an episodic series as released on a weekly basis, then one is not really binging it...?

@Boil - fair enough. But some of us may wait until the entire seasons are released then watch...

I grew up watching weekly episodes of tv shows, now I prefer to wait for an entire season to be available before I binge...

Yes, it's called slow-binging 😛

At least with streaming we can now pause the show, rather than the old days when one rushed to the kitchen or bathroom during a commercial break...

New Fallout episode was good. Releasing one at a time. I went back and watched the last two episodes of S1 to refresh my memory. It was really good!!!

I can't watch a TV show that way anymore. Most of the time, I wait until the entire series has ended before binge watching, because if a season ends in a cliffhanger, it would drive me nuts. The ST:TNG 2 parter, Best of Both Worlds, had me expecting the Borg Cube to be destroyed🥳 in part 2, along with Loqutus/Capt Picard.😢 If I had binged TNG, that story arc would have been all the fun with none of the anxiousness.😊

Sheesh. No spoiler alert?! 🙂

At least in those days, you'd only have to wait a couple months to get a resolution. Network show scheduling was much simpler, and more predictable.

Now, there can be years between seasons…if they're not cancelled with no resolution. Even series that are renewed can be un-renewed.

I heard ya. I'm still salty about Firefly ending abruptly. They drop that bombshell about Shepard in the series that gnawed at me for years. I finally got resolution in a Serenity comic. Shepard is awesome.😎😎😎 That is all I have to say about that.

Not only the time between seasons, but shows used to have 20+ episodes with only a few months gap... now it takes them 2 years to make 8 episodes? I get the difference between network tv series and streaming service series – there's a big difference in $$$ to produce these shows, but c'mon.
