Yesterday binged the first 5 episodes of the fourth serie of The Lincoln Lawyer.

Great transistion from the books to the TV series and when I'll travel to North and South Dakota this summer I will try to rent a Lincoln Navigator if possible.

Instead, for fun try to rent the classic convertible with the suicide doors. My dad owned one…an unbelievably fun and comfortable vehicle for cruising. Just verify the one you rent does NOT have a leaky body in the trunk.

Just finished Banshee on HBOMax. Fan-freekin-tastic series... as long as you really like sex, foul language and over-the-top action in your TV shows. Hey, it originally aired on Cinemax, after all!

The best part is that they wrapped up all the character's story lines in the final season because they knew the show was ending.

I DO!

Gotta get caught up on The Pitt as well...

We've let our HBO and Netflix subs lapse for the time being, but will resub when The Pitt is finished dropping, and there's a good amount of Netflix stuff on our list...

Currently watching Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu - interesting for sure. We are also still rewatching Only Murders in the Building with the wife, who's seeing it for the first time.

Also, watched S5 of Slow Horses over the weekend - another great season. And watched S3 of Tehran, thinking it had all dropped. Now I have 2 more episodes to watch.

After the first few seasons it really was up and down IMHO. We stuck it out though.

Banshee is in my top 5 of all time TV shows, I’ll always remember the car chase, Rebecca tits and all the actions. And the character, I got so much pain with what happened to the Albino. And what an amazing cast, with the Nola/Burton fight in the Rolls with the freaking camera and so on!

I watched it twice, might do a third.

If anyone is looking to a great, entertaining and amazing show, don’t wait and watch Banshee!! NOW!!!

I’m glad you loved it.

I loved Job, but Clay Burton kinda stole the show. The character had like a total of 5 minutes of dialog in the entire 4 seasons, yet managed to steal the show in my opinion. Every time he took his glasses off I sat up, leaned forward and waited for the major arse kicking to start.

Even though Season 2 of “The Pitt” has less medical blood based procedure in your face drama (e.g. ER) thus far, I have appreciated a little deeper staff character story. It is helping to give “The Pitt” even more heart depth (metaphorically speaking).

I have really been enjoying “All Creatures Great and Small.” I am halfway through though season 3. While i was taking a short episode intermission over the weekend, I came across “Astrid et Raphaelle” available on Amazon as well as PBS Masterpiece, and maybe more places. I watched the pilot episode and was really impressed. The version of the series I started watching is the original show which was a French production. Amazon and PBS have English subtitles for those in need (like me). I read there was another version of the (I believe BBC based) show where many said it lacked the depth and emotion that the original show (in French) had. That is what promoted me to go the subtitle route and I wasn’t disappointed. I encourage people to give it a go. I found it very relatable.

I finished watching Night Court for the first time last week. I watched it with the streaming service that comes with Amazon Prime. I have known about the show for years, and I remember watching pieces of the show, but it wasn't until this year I saw full episodes.

If any of you can get iPlayer (BBC) then Small Prophets is worth a binge. We did it in pretty much one evening. Rather nice little whimsical tale from Mackenzie Crook (Detectorists). Some of the jokes possibly might not land so well 'abroad' but worth a watch

Were you watching the original show (1984) with Harry Anderson playing Judge Harry Stone and John Larroquette playing the Prosecutor or the new version (2023) with Melissa Rauch playing Judge Abby Stone (Harry's daughter) with John Larroquette playing the Public Defender?

The OG from 1984. I didn't know about the new version until this year. I have no interest in the new version.

I'm watching the first season of The John Larroquette Show (1993) - dark, but excellent.

It was never sold in a home version, so the YouTube versions are pretty rough-looking out of VHS recordings.
