Started watching The Listener about a mildly telepathic EMS worker who helps the police solve crimes. Season 1 doesn’t seem to be available anywhere but Seasons 2-5 are available to stream and included with Prime. We’ve completed Season 2 - interesting, a tad different, love the hair style of the female lead Lauren Lee Smith. To see a LOT more of her, view the movie Lie with Me. Season 3 after 5 episodes is more of the same though we do not care for the new hair style.

Comparatively, like Castle there is a large ensemble cast in The Listener but also like Castle it is really a two-person show.

About to start this:

Anyone seen it yet?

Started Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

The reviews are the best bi-modal distribution I have ever seen. Literally love it or hate it.
I am firmly in the former group.
This is a very different Star Trek, which is probably why so many 'traditionalists' hate it.
I have enjoyed Uni classes from all the types of academics shown so far.
And Commander Lura Thok is my favourite, most feared, most respected Warrant Officer. Yes, she is a lecturer, Number One and Cadet Master, but she is still the epitome of Sergeant Majors the world over.

Finished S1 of PLUR1BUS yesterday morning. Really good, IMO.

Started S5 of Slow Horses. Don’t know why I haven’t watched that yet.

Warrant Officer her isn't a military/naval rank in this case right? There only time I've seen someone be both a commissioned officer and a NCO at the same time was Radar O'Rielly. Hawkeye pinned on of BJ's captain's bars on him and promoted him to Corporal Captain.

I believe that her proper rank is First Officer, second in charge to the Captain.
I used the term Warrant Officer because that is how she acts, being in charge of discipline, training and welfare, as well as her First Officer duties. You can see this when she first appears.
Warrant Officer is a real rank, the most senior NCO. There are two levels, WO 1 and 2. The position is often called Sergeant Major. Each platoon will have a CSM, or Company Sergeant Major with a rank of WO2 and a regiment will have a RSM, or Regimental Sergeant Major with a rank of WO1.

Um, no, at least not in the U.S. Army. NCO ranks top at Command Sergeant Major; enlisted pay grades are E1 through E9. Warrant Officers are completely separate ranks pay grades W1 through W5; W2 through W5 are all called Chief Warrant Officers. They are entitled to officer privileges such as officer vehicle stickers, membership in the officers’ clubs, and being saluted by enlisted ranks. Commissioned officers are the 3rd category from 2nd Lieutenant to 5-star general called General of the Army, pay grades O1 through O10.

Generally speaking, warrant officers are specialists and technical experts without group (squad, platoon, company, battalion, etc.) command roles unlike commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs). Examples include helicopter pilots where the senior person is the pilot in command of the aircraft and its operations. Other examples of warrant officer jobs include veterinary services, cyber warfare, pilots, intelligence collection, geospatial engineering, and special forces. Warrant officer positions make up about 3% of the Army staffing.

RedLetterMedia's Best of the Worst. Yeah yeah, technically not a TV show, but Youtube has become the new TV imo.

I love pretty much all of their different stuff like Re:View and Half in the Bag, but when I just want to have something to keep me company whilst I game and relax, BotW is mostly what I choose.
