iPhone X Which Wallpaper for iPhone X?

Consider returning the device if you are not satisfied with the purchase. At a thousand dollars, you should be a hundred percent satisfied, and not have to compromise in any way whatsoever. You should not have to resort to an all-black wallpaper on an OLED screen meant to display vibrant colours and purer blacks. Unless you love the look of pure black, that is.
It is possible that next year they figure out a way to have a screen with no notches.

Really happy with it. Best iphone I’ve ever had. Coming from an 7+ it nice to have a smaller phone again. Never used an android so can’t compare to those.
Screen is lovely overall. Notch is only really noticeable on the lock and home screens and doesn’t cause any bother in apps etc. it seems to be a reasonable compromise to fit in the Face ID sensors.
They may figure out a way to blend it in next year but not sure how.
The X is a perfect amalgam of screen size, resolution and form factor. I can't quite wait to see how they take this design forward. Enjoy your device, I am loving iOS 11.2 beta 2 on my iPhone 7, I fancy that on an X, iOS would be blissfully smooth and fast.

How is iOS 11.2? I only have the one phone which I also use for work and from past experiences I learnt never to install beta versions of software on it.
You may steer clear if you have had bad experiences, but I, too, have just one device with me, my iPhone 7, and have been using it on betas only with huge success. Prior to this, I had my iPhone 5s on betas with equal success. There have been only two instances where betas have been deal-breakers for me.
First was when I had to restore to release version of iOS 6, when iOS 7 beta 1 was released.
There was one more instance where I had to go back to release version, that was probably when iOS 10 came out. The reason was that Outlook app was not compatible, and that being email, was critical enough for me to have to go back to iOS 9.
Besides these two instances, I have had no problems whatsoever with betas. So, I would suggest, you make a list of apps and see, with help from this forum, if all work correctly on the latest beta (11.2 beta 2) and then you may take a call to get on the beta bandwagon.
As for me, there is nothing to make me roll back to iOS 11.1.1 at all. Beta 2 of iOS 11.2 is working beautifully with all my apps working as expected. UI and UX is smooth and fluid, animations are fast. Battery has been the best ever. Really, love the 11.2 fork.

You don’t hide the notch. You show it off.
That wallpaper wouldn't really hide it. Just thought it would look good with black leather is all.
Best X thread on the forum! Thanks all for the wallpaper team. I'll probably revisit and try out new ones regularly. The one I was using was already shared so nothing to share.
