Especially since, when Apple gives seasonal targets, they usually mean the last day of the season. Last day of Spring 2011 is June 21st. Not gonna happen.

LOL I love their stuff but damn, Apple really screwed the pooch on this one. Why buy one in the spring when the iPhone5 is just around the corner?

This is a good thing. Let's get it right and not rush it to market. Something that Apple has been accused of in the past, but overall has a good track record with. It's a lot easier to hold it back and get right than deal with all of the bad press that come with a poorly designed product.

By the time it comes out it will already be replaced in two months max! Why even release it now?
There will not be a white iPhone 4. This will be too close to the launch of an iPhone 5. Apple just does not want to say hey we messed up with it, there won't be one so they keep delaying it until eventually they say "delayed until iPhone 5"
Definitely to Apple with their attention to every detail. Even if it was very subtle I think they would still stop the product from going to market to sort the problem out.
There would be no point in selling one color to carrier A, and another to carrier B. Besides, most of the rumors suggest a hybrid CDMA/GSM iPhone 5.
Why bother? Just scrap the damn thing already. Spring 11? Seriously?...especially when iPhone 5 would be prepping to make it's debut at that point. They must be having a laugh.

But seriously, they can now sell millions of white iPhone 4's right before iPhone 5 will be released. That way all the people who are oblivious to the cycle or the people who just don't care will buy them.
However, their will be the people who will buy this and then be all like "OMG Like I didnt realeyes APpLe wuz gona release a knew Iphone in to months.

I see no reason why colors for different carriers would be an issue. Blackberry does this and it works just fine.

BTW, iPhone 5 will be standard in white with a black version optional.
Would you prefer that they sell something that has problems ? They would have released it if they could have. I am glad that they gave the date of next spring so people will stop waiting.
