White iPhone 4 Option Appears in AT&T's Online Account Management System

I agree, that it is a very valid question. I've been shot down several times here on MR for even suggesting that the next iPhone upgrades (if there are any coming this summer) will be very minimal. But to me, this just makes sense.

Apple is going to look very foolish if they don't release the iPhone 4 in white, after pushing the date back so many times and assuring the public that it will eventually come. So I believe wholeheartedly that we'll see it soon. Because of this, I have a hard time believing that they'll release it, only to release a newer iPhone that makes it looks outdated. At the most, there will be slight upgrades to the phone which will still allow for the white iPhone 4 to be in the spotlight and not look like yesterday's tech.

Just my 2 cents. We'll see what happens in June, but I'm not expecting anything monumental.

I think the new version this summer will be a small change (like the 3G to 3GS change). I don't think they'll revamp the whole phone.

That said, I also don't think they'll necessarily trot out the white phone until then, either. But, that's just me. It would make more sense to wait... "Hey... new phone (ignore the lack of major upgrades to the features)... new color!"

Unless... they plan on having even more colors than black and white... which I sorta doubt, but you never know.

When it doubt, dazzle the masses with color options. ;)
 
That's always been there. AT&T online account management always messes up the image for my phone, so when I go to change it, a White iPhone option has always come up. I'm trying to log in now, but it's timing out or giving me a "bad" request. They're probably updating it to take out the White iPhone 4 option.

Liger. That sounds cool. Aren't many big cat names left. Maybe Cougar or Lynx/Bobcat. Meerkat or Bearcat but they aren't cats. Hopefully in OS XI the community isn't reduced to calling the os names like "fluffy" or "miss pretty boots."

And it gets better, rumor has it Apple will be charging just $699.00 and expects to sell five million in 30 days.

I'm eager to see how high that raises my Apple stock. :)
 
Slow news day? Every tech site that reports on Apple is picking up this story, but like a poster said a few posts above me, the white iPhone 4 has always been in AT&T's system. I had to change my phone picture in August, October and just last week. The white iPhone 4 has been an option all three times.

Rather see a Silver/Gray one with White logo/writing. Would go great with iPad. Would rather see iPad look like black iPhone 4 though! :)

They are retarded to waste the white covers for the iPhone 4, they should just save them for the iPhone 5 so when it is released there are no delays and more customers will eventually be happy. O yea I almost forgot...I hope Verizons network has the same problems as AT&t's.

my guess is that apple just gave up on the white iphone 4, and is planning to release a white iphone 5 (because it's probably gonna have the same exterior design as the iphone 4)
 
Well parried, AT&T! Verizon announces a functional network and you respond with a WHITE iPHONE! Consumers really do have a tough choice to make now.
