I wouldn't even take it out of the box. I would head straight to ebay and list it for $2500 minimum. Think about it, black iPhone 4s are selling on ebay for $1000+ right now and there's 600,000 of them out there. Imagine how valuable a white iPhone 4 is if there's only a few hundred of them.
I'm guessing the BB employee is a moron, just like some of the BB employees that posted on this board going "CONFIRMED: BESTBUY WILL CARRY WHITE IPHONE"..."I SAW THEM WITH MY OWN EYES".
Guess what? Those morons saw a white BOX, which actually holds the black iphone 4. (Black top, white sides). They were probably looking at the new 3GS box as the black one, and assumed the white box was the white iphone, when in fact its the iphone 4.
If Apple doesn't have them, BestBuy won't.
And yes, if I magically got an iPhone 4 in white right now, that **** would be on ebay for $3k+. I'd book a trip to Hawaii, and then put $ aside for another white iphone in 4 weeks.

I hope the guy gets his white phone, but I don't think that he will. I'm sure if there was one in BB in California there would have been another one in some other state and pics would be posted of the thing by now.
If he had the white one he would have posted from the best buy store a picture of him holding his white iPhone standing next to a BB employee. Then he would hurry home to belittle every one of his doubters.

I bet Chris at Best Buy in Palm Desert saw the exterior box, which is WHITE, and assumed the phone inside is also white.
SKUs would have been reflected in the system.

You all really thing this sole person is getting a white iPhone when not even the Apple store has them? Really?
Maybe there was a shipping mix up, and best buy really did get one? I'm sure apple has some in the country, its just a low amount and they are sitting on them until mid july when they have a sizeable quantity.
But yah if I was him, it would go straight to ebay. No question.
