Apple might have eradicated any hope of the white iPhone 4 when they took their store down today. According to Cult of Mac and Apple Rumors, all mention of the white iPhone has been wiped, and all the images that used to have the white iPhone in it have been switched to black. At this point, with it being April and a June release of iPhone 5 being likely, it doesn't make sense to introduce a new color with just two months of play time. [Apple Rumors via Cult of Mac]

According to a source speaking to 9to5Mac, when the Apple Store went down this morning, there was only one major change in the database when it came back online the total elimination of the white iPhone 4 from Apples database.
Not only is the SKU gone from Apples system, but images that were once for the white iPhone 4 have now been tweaked to feature the black iPhone 4 instead.
Needless to say, the release of the white iPhone 4 has been plagued with problems. The white paint used in the manufacturing of the glass case of the iPhone 4 caused light to leak onto the camera sensors, and Apple has seemingly spent much of the past nine months trying to fix that problem.
Even so, skeptics who didnt believe the white iPhone 4 would ever arrive shut up last month when Apples Phil Schiller promised it was still coming an assertion that raised additional questions about whether or not Apple would be updating the iPhone line-up as a whole in June.
With the white iPhone 4 removed from Apples databases, it seems like the kibosh might finally be put upon the albino handset once and for all. On the bright side, though, it probably means well see at least some upgrade to the iPhone in June, and you can guarantee Apples not going to make the same mistake with the iPhone 5.

Sucks for those who were waiting for the white one.
