White iPhone gone forever?

Exactly ! Why the unbearable silence ? It's not like it will hurt their sales to announce it's canceled.

i think we can bet a white iphone will be standing right next to the black one come june. no point in putting out a 4 anything this close to june.

Assuming the 5 is coming out this summer...
Ongoing rumors are not reassuring, if production was anywhere close to begin, industry insiders should know by now, we're 8 weeks away from a potential release. I confess it's annoying to be left in the dark like that. I need to know if I should get a 4 now because I won't wait for a 5 coming out in the fall.

Conversion kits

I've been pondering and pondering...

I think I'm gonna get a used iPhone 4 black (hopefully in *****ty condition for cheap) and buy the white kit and transfer.

Question: Will the proximity sensor work? Will the earpiece work? Are these faulty in all white conversions? How bad is the camera really?

Any insight would be mucho appreciated.

Jokes aside, i think a September release of iOS 5 along with iPhone 5 is most ideal, they're gonna milk iPhone 4 until the last drop!

Indeed, Apple has always released a new iPhone with a new iOS version.
iOS 5 will be previewed at WWDC in June then released in September along with the iPhone 5. I don't see the latter launching in June as rumored because iOS 5 won't be ready for it, it will be merely previewed at that time.
