People want what they want. It's rather simple. If you want something, what do you do? Buy it. What's wrong with that? Is it wrong because YOU think it's too expensive and there are better things to do with the money? No. It's their money and they can do what they want.

I think it's crazy but I am not going to condemn someone for spending their OWN money how they want. Lol. You only live once - spend away! :cool:
 
haters gonna hate. but nah u guys are right, im not thrilled with all the $$ im spending on this dang phone, but for some unknown reason it makes me happy so ima do it. then, when the iphone 5 comes out, ill sell this one and get that one. its a crazy cycle of craziness.

thejae, how do you recommend i go about trying to get a refund as well? should i file a dispute with paypal, or email this alan guy and just ask for it? sorry i was just a little confused about how you said you did it and i just want to make sure im not out 300 ya dig?

Kids got balls, and there's obviously people who are willing to pay 300 bucks to convert their iphone into a white one.

Damn i should've ordered a few of these kits and sold them for a larger profit now that the sites gone down,

Here is what I did.

- File dispute with PP explaining whiteiphone4now went bust and that shipment has still not been made.
- Email the three email addresses above looking for my order.
-- Alan replied asking my PP address
-- 40 mins later, PP notify me dispute has been closed and refund issued.

It might be best to email these guys first, they seem quite polite. Also note that they operate from China so any emails will only be attended during local business hrs.

It has nothing to do with balls, he was just a kid who thought he saw a perfectly legitimate business opportunity after talking to a Chinese guy who tried to sell him penis enlargement pills or something through email. He was just ignorant of the consequences, and stupid.
 
I don't think he stole them. Didn't he buy them?

I wonder about all these other places selling white iphone parts, supposedly OEM, as well?

Of course people can do what they please with their money. However, personally I think its an exuberant amount of money. So many ways to make the phone look white without voiding the warranty, and for well under 300.
 
The boy is probably locked up in Apple's headquarter and being questioned for stealing parts from jesus Phone. What they did to Jason Chen will be nothing compare to what they did to this 17 years old boy.

You can use the "I didn't know" defense but you better have a darn good case as to why you didn't know. Lawyers will do ANYTHING to make you look bad. It's their job. And as stated before, Apple has a whole team of lawyers that will destroy this kid. Yes he did buy the stolen parts but if there is even a slight chance that he knew, lawyers will capitalize on it and take this kid down.
 
Why would anyone want to change there phones to the white front and back if there was a problem with the white shell. Apple did not go with it for a reason and im sure it must of been a good one. So why bother with it.
