I think its stupid that I pay $400 dollars for a top of the line music player and then less than a month later, I have to pay to upgrade it.
I have a jailbroken ipod touch and I would happily pay $20 for (what I know to be great from the jailbreaking) great apps. But as vain as it my sound, I really don't want to give up my wallpaper ( the black background is just so boring), icons (only a couple of which I have changed, but I really like some of them), and my leopard style dock. And of course, being a comp sci major, I really like just being to ssh in and be able to change whatever I want. I thought it was really cool when I could go from photoshop and illustrator to make an icon and put in right on my own piece of hardware. Its a more intimate experience than I've ever had with a device (yes, I know that phrase lends itself to cheap jokes, so do with it what you will).
ricardo1064 you need to update your itunes/itouch to the latest version(s). I had the same problem till then.
As anyone had an issue with there current location feature?
I live in Boston Ma but every time with a occasion of like 3 times it tells me my current location is S Urish Road which is in like Topeka Kansas? Its annoying. but other then that I think the applications are worth the 20 bucks.
i just did, and i don't regret it a bit..
I see in the new 1.1.3 update for the iphone they put in chapter stops for when you are viewing a movie. I wish they would of included them in on the itouch. Moving the slide bar at the top is a pain. If you have to go back a minute or so it is very hard to do.
Chapter selection is included in the 1.1.3 January Upgrade app package for the iPod touch.
I was doubting at first but I just thought: Heck! I'll just get them!
And I tell you, I'm not regretting being $20 lighter!
Great apps, Worth the money!
