I didn't know this thread was still around and alive. I had gotten a TouchPad the first weekend of the fire sale. Just sold it last weekend for $180. It was neat and overall I was quite impressed by it, but it just wasn't getting enough use along side my ipad, so I decided to sell it.

I got a 32gb firesale the first sunday that bb.com was selling them. I overclocked patched etc and its ok. The battery life is terrible and i still find myself ALWAYS using my ipad2 and the tp only when my ipad is charging . I bought the hp bt keyboard fof the tp which i must say is pretty nice fof any bt device even my mbp. I also bought a better case for the tp on ebay than the hp case and on ebay i git a spare charger for six bucks. But again i mostly use my ipad. The two dont compare. Every so often i'll watch a flash movie on the tp. I didnt even bother to set up email because i get it on my ipad, my mbp, my mac mini, my imac, my ip0d touch, and my workhouse hp 15 inch laptop with vista. Too many devices thats for sure and there are a few more old macs sitting around and a windows 7 quad four pc i use as a home theater pc. Nuts!

I ordered one from HP SBM back on Aug 21/22.
I had almost forgot about it until I got an email saying it would ship by Oct 31.
I actually tried to cancel then all of a sudden, they said it shipped.
I should have it early next week.

Sorry if this has been asked but what website should I visit that gives you all the info on over clocking, etc.?

Go to pre central.net. You can look it up there.

Same here. I just got a shipment notification from the Aug 21st order. I had totally forgotten about it, and just assumed that I wasn't getting one. I saw a few holds for it on my credit in September, but none of them ever cleared so I didn't worry about it.

HP is strange. :)

I have one and it sat on my nite stand until a few days ago when the Alpha CM7 Android was released for it.

My son plays with it. Good price for an Android tablet. It'll be even better once CM7 1.0 is released.

Now I don't have to worry about my iPad2 being dropped

CyanogenMod Alpha 2.1 is really good and stable in itself. Found a tutorial to install Android on touchpad for those interested, really easy to use directions.

It's an alpha release. There's still bugs in it but my son enjoys it. Has games, netflix and some ebooks on it.
