Only had the phone for like 12hrs, but I haven't had any issues--holding it in either hand. I carry the phone 'naked' as well, so there is no insulator protecting it. Perhaps I don't put the kung-fu death grip on my phone when talking? Or I just got lucky.

I've had mine since the 23rd. Not a single signal issue and no discoloration of the screen. In perfect working order.

also using one since June 23rd - no issues so far. AT&T signal sucks at my house - usually only 2 bars of signal (same as on my old iPhone 3G), but it is not affected at all by the way I hold it.

I'm left handed, and previously posted a "witty" comment about the inevitable upcoming lefties class-action lawsuit.

But I can't reproduce the antenna problem. I even ran a speed test while FIRMLY pressing on the troublesome seam.

That test actually had a FASTER download speed, but did have an impaired download speed.

I haven't tried wetting my hand, wetting my hand with salt water, or tried it in a low signal-strength area. How long before somebody comes up with a lie-detector app? Can an app read signal strength? ;)

I've had mine since the 23rd. Haven't dropped a single call. I've tried every way I can think of to get the antenna issue to manifest but I've been unsuccessful in multiple locations doing so...

Got my 32gb yesterday. I tried every position I could to replicate the issue and no signal loss at all. It's my first iPhone too. Happy!:D

I would like to disagree with you on that one! not that i am happy to do so though :(

I got two 32GB versions direct from Apple and both suffer massively with the signal and yellow blotch issue! i can sit here with it on the arm of the chair with full signal strength then all i have to do is touch the left hand side and bridge the two metal strips and within 30 seconds the signal has gone! move my finger away and it comes straight back!

All i can say is there must be a bad batch with some kind of conductor or insulator missing and you have been lucky to get the good ones!! i am certainly not a hater by any stretch of the imagination!! why would i shell out £1200 too slag the thing off

That's totally fair enough. I'm not saying that there isn't an issue with some phones, I'm merely making the point that it does not affect all, and therefore is not a design flaw, but rather, as you say, a manufacturing fault if anything.

The yellow blotch issue apparently fades as part of the binding process of the glue holding the display to the faceplate.

All I know, is I'm having neither of these problems, nor any others, and I am very happy about that.

My dad, girlfriend and I all got ours June 23 due to our Apple.com pre-orders. They both got the 16 and I got the 32. The 3 of us haven't had any issues at all.

I really doubt these problems are as widespread as they're being portrayed. As it usually goes, the most vocal people around launch on forums are the ones having issues. People TYPICALLY don't come on to say, "Hey, my phone is working, just to let you guys know."

I just went to the Apple Store and tried their demo models and did all the tricks/tests. None of them had an issue. Mine? it moved down 1-2 bars but back up so it was not bad there. WIFI was weak but then again its probably the store. The sales girl told me they have already gotten a few calls about reception probs so...

I don't know...just gonna enjoy the phone.

I have no problem with mine. I let a friend who returned his due to the signal issue try mine: he could not get it to drop signal either.

I've had no problems with reception at all on my 32gb !

I'm actually getting a much better signal with ip4 compared to my 3gs! :D
