I am the only person that I personally know that pre-ordered one.. Which to me is surprising as a ton of my friends/family love Apple products and use iPhones..

Also, I still get asked every day at work if my Pebble Steel is the Apple Watch:confused: Seriously? It isn't even out yet!

I've got three friends who HAVE ordered and two more than are planning to. I don't know how telling that is about popularity or just what they're like, hehe.

I have myself, my wife, my cousin and two - three friends are getting it.

We are all in the May 13th group.

Just Me, My close friends didn't ask me if I'm getting one, they said when is it getting delivered :D

My Brother will get one in June and my nephew will get one end of year when he finally gets his first iPhone, he's only 12

Just me and my other half (who I kind of talked into it so I wouldn't be the only one I know with one).

I doubt any of my friends will ever get one.

None. All of my fds need to hear the review from the first batch before deciding which one to pick.

I desperately want to try the digital touch (the main reason I bought the  watch) with others,

maybe I'll start a new thread here when I received mine and send the sketch or tap (not sure if sending heartbeat to strangers, kinda weird) to you guys
I come from Hong Kong, it would be great to send these across the globe! haha!

Not one, wait till they see my watch. Haha it's always nice to be that guy who has the first toy...

Most ppl really can't afford to pay the price they are asking for the watch and the accessories. Factor in part of the population doesn't even use a watch.

I think the biggest obstacle for Apple besides cost to the consumer, is also most don't see the need for one. I don't think Apple has done a good job at building need or value from it. But they are putting a heck of a lot of money advertising it.

Just my husband!

My friend tried but missed out on the first date so gave up

I only know one person besides my wife, and he told me that he only knows one other person, so we'll be the only people he can send his heartbeat to :)

I think most people could afford the sports watch but probably can't justify the price.

No one.

My close friends are Android users, and my brothers are curious, but can't justify the price this early on. They'll probably jump on board for the 2nd or 3rd generation as it matures.

Nobody. Literally every adult in my family has an iPhone 6 but nobody seems all that interested in the watch. I'm not positive that most of them are even aware of it.

Same here basically. My Mom knows about it, but she's only slightly amused

No one. A friend is interested but he's putting off getting one, well since he can't get one having not ordered within the first 6 seconds on April 10th.
So now he just has a wait and see attitude.

That's what I meant. Which also had to do with the point I had, that although Apple has a nice ad campaign. They still haven't done a great job at answering one of the most basic questions to the masses. Why should I buy it? Do I need it?

Yes for some of us who have been paying attention this past year. We can answer this easily. But for most of the masses, they still are very unfamiliar with what it does. And how it will impact them.

Just me, my husband and we ordered one for his sister for her birthday after she expressed an interest in the pink sport 38 mm. Hubby has a friend in France who ordered one, too.

As far as I know, none of us is planning to send heartbeats or doodles to each other. That's the one feature whose appeal eludes us old pharts. It does not help that even though all of us are decently artistic, we are fumbled-fingered on tiny screens and have middle aged vision, so all doodles are likely to look like variations on an egg wearing mouse ears.

I bullied my boyfriend into buying a silver 42mm sport with white band with the hopes I can send him stupid doodles during work/school
