Do you have friends who are also getting Apple watches?
I was wondering how many people will have many friends or family members who are also getting watches. I only know of my husband who is also getting a watch but it won't come until June. I'm disappointed I won't have any one to tap, sketch to, or send my heartbeat to for a long time.

I am the pioneer of my work and friends. I am the only one who pre ordered the AW. A friend at work wants to fondle my watch before he orders his and another is going to order one after her vacation.
About 70% of my coworkers have iPhones, and I am the only one getting an AW for sure. Wonder if that is the norm for all iPhone owners not getting the AW right at the launch?

Everyone is calling me an idiot for spending this much on a watch, (Only $480 with 42mm, Care+ and Tax) but when it arrives, they'll be ogling over it for a couple of weeks. So, no one is buying one now but eventually they'll decided to, probably around christmas.
No unfortunately none of my family members, work colleagues or friends are interested in the 
Watch. That said even those who own iPhones don't have anything newer then a 4S so the watch would be of no use to them.

My two bosses at work both pre-ordered one. Both got sports, one Silver w/Blue band and is in the 4/24-5/8 window, the other got a Space Grey w/Black band and is in the 4-6 weeks window. We're all ex- store employees though so it was a given we'd all get it hahah.

To my knowledge, I'm the only one of my friends to order an Apple Watch. However, I did order one for my mother, and I convinced my father to go to an Apple Store for a try-on and he ended up preordering one, too.

Like most, people think I'm crazy for dropping this much on a watch. Then again, I like to sport Tissots on a daily basis. Thus, the only difference between this watch and my Tissots is that people don't know how much a Tissot costs and have an excellent idea what a Watch costs.
Tangent aside, only my best bud since 2nd grade decided to buy a 42mm SS with link. Both my parents bought into theWatch too.

Nope, I'm the only one in my entire school as far as I know. A lot of people my age generally don't have money set aside for big tech purchases like I do
A friend and a work colleague are both going to order once the fuss dies down but that's the only ones I know of!
no-one I know is getting one. It is very strange, you either seem to be so frothingly excited by it that you've signed up to this forum just because of it (like me) or utterly unexcited and sceptical. Very little in between
