It's updated but 5 bucks I'm good!

Yeah hefty price tag for a relatively simple tweak, I guess people will pay it if they want it badly. Some minor tweaks are worth a lot to me so I can see how some would feel that way about Gridlock

Well yes its a simple tweak but requires a TON of coding and hard work that goes behind it.

I bought it, was only $2 for me since I had bought the original version, so not too terrible for the value it is. I had completely forgotten I bought the original. Thankfully Cydia reminded me :)

Love it, thank you! I didn't have to buy the add-on premium because the free version now has the envelop, which is the only piece I wanted. Thanks so much!

Untrue, as the first reply said, opennotifier, a little tweak, did the trick :)

I thought you asked how "I" managed the envelope icon, in that case my reply was true.

I'm glad you found an acceptable way to manage the tweak.

Did the original Gridlock tweak back on iOS4 or even iOS5 cost $5 back then too? I can't remember what I originally paid. Anyone know what the original gridlock used to cost before iOS6 and Gridlock 2.0?

Well it's definitely not worth 5 dollars and I won't even pay the 2 bucks that I get to pay because I'm an old user.

Not only that, but I have removed Zephyr and will never d/l another Chpwn tweak again.

At least when ISX charged for their update they had it ready for iOS 6, not a month later.

You should at least check out WebScrollian from chpwn. It's a free tweak and one of my favorites! It works in almost every single screen where you have to scroll. Whenever I use a friend or family member's iPhone I am always shocked at how slow the scrolling speed is by default! I always forget haha. What would take about 7 or 8 swipes to reach the top or bottom only takes 1 or 2 swipes with WebScrollian. I love it. So simple. Perfect example of why I jailbreak haha.

FYI I was just pointing out that chpwn does make good stuff for jailbroken devices and sometimes releases them for free! :) I'm basically playing devils advocate and defending him, if you will. But everyone's entitled to their opinions and I respect yours!

Aww I thought it would be 99 cents. Oh well, iBlank it is. Thanks to the developer regardless.

It may not be worth $5 to you, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth it to someone else. I don't get why a spending a few bucks on tweaks is such a big deal to some people.

Having played with things a bit more...I'd agree with a user on another thread that there's a probable conflict with Folder Enhancer (which was already a bit buggy for a number of people on 6.1+) . Just downloaded an app from the App Store. Returned to Springboard to find a folder missing. Respring > three of six apps from the folder appear on the springboard, but another folder disappears. Uninstall Gridlock, respring again; one folder comes back, the other doesn't. Recreate folder, reinstall Gridlock. Now everything stays put.

For me, since I don't change layouts too often & most of my folders are small, I can live with this until it's fixed. But if you keep dozens of apps in a folder via Folder Enhancer, you may want to wait a bit and let the bugs get worked out before installing Gridlock.

After using Iconoclasm and Iconoclasm Layout Maker... no need for Gridlock. Gridlock is easier to use, but you can do more with the Iconos...

The original cost $2.99
The upgrade costs $1.99 which makes the total $4.98 as he wanted the total to be less than for new users.
It is a complete re-write as Apple changed things and for the amount of work that went into it it is good value.

is multi Icon Mover the only tweak that Gridlock doesnt play fair with? Apparently whenever I try to move an icon to a new page sicne installing Gridlock phone freezes then reboots.

Gridlock causes my phone to freeze on me as well if i drag an icon to a brand new page. Lots of people having this issue.

LOTS of freezing issues. I've been taking it super slow.. had to uninstall multi icon mover AND infiniboard which I use damn near daily

Who else is waiting for Gridlock to update?

How do you have NC settings on your home screen...? Could you please share...

I used dashboard X to the the NCsettings on my home-screen and gridlock 2.0 to move the icons down one row so i can put the ncsettings on top.
