General Who else is waiting for Gridlock to update?

I'm using CustomGrid 2.
Is there anything Gridlock 2 would provide I am missing with my tweak?
(I qualify for the discount, so if Gridlock 2 is worth using, I'll do so.)
 
4S issue? seems the grid on my 4S extends to under the dock, so now i have a couple of icons stuck there; ironically, cydia and settings. so i can't remove gridlock for the moment, or get to anything else....

HELP! 🙄


EDIT: i can SSH into my phone. can i uninstall gridlock this way? anyone know where it's located? or have another idea? if the grid extends under the dock on the 4/4S, this could be a problem for others...

or...??? HELP!

Just hold the volume up button while your phone boots up. This will put you in safe mode and you can uninstall gridlock.
 
Never used gridlock but besides being able to place anywhere on screen in the standard iPhone 5 grid, can you move icons closer together or put more icons in the same row? Similar to iconoclasm but without having to use a separate app just to make the layouts.

Just a note--conflict with Multi Icon Mover was noted by a user in Chpwn's Twitter feed. Just tried it and yep, Multi Icon Mover lets you select the icons, but not move them.

You can put any icon in any spot that an app can go. You cannot put them anywhere but you can put them in any spot that apples software allows you too

Lol no problem. Glad I could help. Sorry I can't say I'm experiencing this because I'm not using gridlock yet. I don't need it at the moment but I'm also gonna wait a little while for the bugs to get ironed out. It's a "complete rewrite" which to me, I read that as "a brand new tweak". Therefore I just assume there will be bugs and conflicts. I'd rather not deal with all that and just wait until it becomes more stable. Hopefully all will be well after the update to fix some of these issues.

I'm confused. My stock weather widget doesn't look like that. That widget you have above your icons looks just like forecast. Forecast places the time and date on the left side and the city goes on the same side as the temperature. My stock weather widget puts the city on the left and doesn't include the current time or date at all.

Why does your weather widget above your icons look differently than mine does?

Great, so my 2 must-have tweaks don't work together.

Thanks chpwn, for taking my money and giving me excrement in return. All this work you had to put in and charge hundreds or thousands of people $5 apiece, and for what?

For garbage. I just bought a sack of garbage. Enjoy your ill-gotten gains, chpwn! Enjoy your ill-gotten gains.

I won't be falling for it anymore.

It is the weather_widget in dashboardX! Not sure why it is different

Well i have opennotifier which is free and the opennotifier premium pack for $1.99 which contains the envelope. Love it, thank you! I didn't have to buy the add-on premium because the free version now has the envelop, which is the only piece I wanted. Thanks so much!
