My first one had a crack beneath the glass, but I was able to do a return/exchange for a new phone (not a white box) and that one is flawless.

My Plus was flawless, aside from a small amount of something on the top left corner of the device near the seam of where the glass meets the metal. I think it may have been a small piece of glue. I was able to remove it with a small amount of effort.

The display is absolutely gorgeous. Even if it did have a dead pixel, I think the PPI is so high I wouldn't really notice. I've never seen such an even backlight in my life. They nailed it—with mine anyway.

A very pleased 6 plus 128GB owner here. I'm happy to say, I can find no flaws whatsoever with this phone. The display is uniform in color, no dead pixels or light bleed either. Wifi has dropped once, but resetting network settings fixed that. No scratching or manufacturing flaws either. I'm not given to saying this lightly, but this is the best iPhone to date. It does feel a little fragile due to the thinness, but that's the price we pay for wanting a huge phone that doesn't weigh 2 pounds. You've just gotta get a sturdy case or take very good care of it. Or better yet, how about someone make a titanium case with a microfiber lining, eh?

The vibrate function went bonkers on mine today out of nowhere, worked fine since Friday otherwise. Purchased at Best Buy and no local stores have any, the closest Apple store is over an hour away. I called Support after the Apple store telling me they wouldn't do anything. Hard to believe their support has no insight into what stock their stores have (this is what I was told) and even after the CSR contacted the store, they wouldn't hold one for me or even tell me they would do a swap after checking it out.

I've had a couple Apple devices in the past (still have my ipad), none of which had any issues, but I am a bit shocked and disappointed by the support I received from them today.

Returned my defective device to Best Buy and on the fence as to whether I want to buy anything else from Apple.

What I thought I had a flawless 6 Plus (well still is, no yellow tint, no backlight bleeding, no dead/stuck pixels, no bent), but when I looked closely at the screen it looked like what I thought it was a dead pixel, but as I looked at it closely, it apparently is not a dead pixel because if i look at it sideway it turns white.

So clearly there is a foreign object underneath my screen. Not sure if I should keep this one or have it replaced. It is definitely noticeable on white screen.

But also I have till tomorrow for the return window and not sure if Apple store near me will receive any new 6 Plus in stock. So I'm not sure if I should just return the 6 Plus now and wait till Apple gets some more 6 Plus in stock and use my 4S for time being or just deal with the replacement at the genius bar. I know that they are still brand new but once I do replace it, I can no longer return it.

Plus I do not want to go through having it replaced through the genius knowing that I could receive another device of the same issue or even worse (like yellow tint, but I can be at ease because I don't think I've heard any reports of 6 Plus having yellow tint issues, only the 6).

My phone is perfect as far as hardware goes. I have the Plus and love it for the size, screen and battery. Now I just wish Apple would get going and fix all the lagginess and glitches. This has been the worst software I've seen with all the Apple devices I've had since 2007.

Every iPhone I've ever gotten as been flawless. Heck for that matter every Apple product I have gotten has been flawless.

I am still amazed that some people can go through a half a dozen (iPhone, iPad, iMac, rMNP, etc) and claim they are all flawed.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thought my phone was flawless until I spotted a small smudge under the glass. It's not a dead pixel, looks more like a dust particle thats stuck in there. It's only visible in white or light backgrounds but when you know it's there it's hard to ignore.

Going back to the store this weekend to see what they think. Too bad they don't just swap screens. My phone is otherwise perfect.

First iPhone 6 had faulty vibration motor that was rattling extremely loudly against the bottom left of the phone chassis, Apple replaced, now my replacement within a day has two dead pixels so off I go again on Wednesday for another replacement. Not happy.

so far perfect. i have an iPhone 6+ SG 128GB. made a couple of videos to test for dead pixels and saw nothing. screen is beautiful as is the casing. only problem is I am letting it wear an Apple leather case. I normally let my devises go NAKED ;) I am sure once I adapt to the size I will remove the case and let it live the way it was meant lol.

I got my 2007 iMac in late September and after updating to Leopard it froze as soon as ANY animation was triggered (even Dock magnifying) They released an update to ATI card after 2 weeks to address that issue. I got my iPod nano and the center button was making strange sounds and didn't always work. I got my 4S and it had the back glass that moved right and left (a little, but it wasn't firm). I got my MBA 2012 and the backplate still sometimes makes some kind of clicking noise under a little pressure. At least my 6 plus is ok.

My iPhone 6 is perfect space grey to my standards. My vibrating motor sounds weird but I'll live with it as I don't want to take a chance in replacing it. Happy days here and Apple did great job with it not dead pixels not spotlights on the top like almost all of my iPhone 4s's

First iPhone 6 plus is perfect. Preordered from apple and received on launch day. Silver 128. Second one bought at MOA apple store. Had a faulty speaker. Could barely hear when making calls or listening to voicemail. Returned right away (wasn't going to get stuck with one of their crappy refurbs that should start creeping into inventory) and now I'm waiting for stock to refresh to repurchase.

All perfect out of the box.

Only Apple device I ever had any problems with was my first TC which had a hard drive failure after about a year of use. A guess I was not happy with the rechargeable Apple batteries either. Worked well for awhile then stopped accepting a charge.

So I decided to go to the store right at opening. I did not set up an appointment and Genius looked at the issue and agreed that it was a particle/dust underneath the screen.

I walked out with a new replacement (of course white box, but nonetheless it is brand new as I checked the chipmunk sight and it tells me that this phone was made on Week 37). This goes to show that Apple is replacing units with Brand new device still.

This one is pretty flawless for now but of course until I use it and notice something then it's a problem. But I don't go looking for any issues.

Oh not to mention, the vibration on this new one is a lot smoother than the other one where it made a loud noise.

This one is a keeper for now. What is the difference between MGAR2LL/A and the NGAR2LL/A (replacement phone)?

The N represents that it is a replacement unit. While I'm sure these phones are still new at this point, I personally would not accept it. I didn't pay X amount of dollars for a "refurbished" phone. I paid for a new one so I want a retail box with my phone, and I want the serial numbers on the box to match the phone. Also, if I were to try and sell the phone I could run into a problem because it is technically a replacement unit and many buyers won't take the chance. Last year I had to return a 5S due to its battery and I was offered a replacement unit and I refused it. Ended up returning the phone and waiting a few days for the in-store stock to improve.

Found one small issue: shooting high-speed video in low-light conditions, there are some hot pixels recorded that flicker. It seems like this is common, so I'm not sure if it's a problem with the sensor.

There are three common flaws on iPhone 6, depending on the factory where it was built
All three "flaws" don't impede usability

1. Loose screen - usually top left hand corner. If pushing down on the screen, the screen will have a tiny bit of a give into the case.
2. Unaligned front facing camera. The front facing camera may not be aligned or perfectly centered. You may see a white coloured "ring" around one side of the front facing camera
3. Yellowed screen/uneven backlight

My iphone falls under number 1. However, I would much rather that than the other two. So... I stuck with it. If the screen ever falls off then I'll swap it.

I would bet if some of the nitpicky people here spent some time with your apple gear, they'd FIND faults worth going to the Genius Bar for

Normally I would have done the return/exchange but my 14 day window was up and I just noticed the issue right after so there is not much you can do about that. Sure if I had noticed it within 14 days, most likely I would have returned it and wait for the apple to have it in stock. Plus I don't have a spare phone to use in the mean time so that won't work.

Whether the replacement unit starts with the N or not, It is still brand new as it was made in week 37 (first week of September). When I had an iPhone 4 before, you could tell whether the replacement was a refurb by simply looking at the serial number that started with a K. I'm not sure if that is still the case with the 4S or 5 or even 5S/5C.

Anyways, I did get it replaced and everything is perfect and is a keeper. I don't really care about whether it starts with MGARLL2 or NGARLL2 as both did come from Foxconn and as long as it's a working phone is what I care about. Of course I hate dust under screen.
