Walked into a Best Buy, asked if they had any of the 5S in stock. Said they had one silver 16GB for Verizon. Bought it outright and when I got in the car I opened it and it was a gold version. Those are nonexistent here in west TN so it was a nice surprise.

I've got an unlocked 64GB gold, and I'm sure quite a few people have their gold by now, so I'm just struggling a bit to see the point of the thread
Go check other threads. Tons of us who ordered nearly as early as you, are still "Processing items".

- Receipt email from the Apple Store, is timestamped 12:09AM.
- 7 to 10 business days to ship, arrives October 8th - 11th.
- Requested upgrade to expedited shipping, a few days later.
- Processing since September 20th
- Getting Ready for Shipping, September 30th
- Shipped on the October 2nd
- Received in hand, October 7th

Got a gold one for my wife. 64GB, AT&T. Was first in line at the Boulder, CO Apple store for launch. Got the only 64GB gold they had and got myself the only 64GB silver they had. I felt lucky to get either one, let alone both.

I have been hunting for a gold 5S since middle of last week. After two runs to the store and 7 times missing out on one when they came up on the online store and another on macrumors I found a nice member who was just going to return his phone. I paid $845 for the 64gb including over night shipping which I consider a steal. Came today in flawless condition

Me. Had a space grey that I got on launch day at 4pm. Returned that and bought a silver. Found a store 1.5 hrs away from me yesterday that had gold. I told them I wanted to exchange my silver for a gold and if they would hold it for me. Didn't think they would but they held it 48hrs and I got it 20 hrs after I called them(today at 4pm).
