Who has a gold iPhone in their hands right now?

AT&T 32 gig. picked it up at best buy today (they had 3 32's)

I had one on order with apple but cancelled it and AT&T reset my eligibility instantly. Keep checking their website it's really good at keeping track of availability.

Walked in hoping to find a spacy grey for my husband. They didn't have those, but happened to have the gold, which I figured I'd be waiting for until November. Couldn't believe it!

Here's my 32GB AT&T iPhone 5s. I ordered it at 3:04 AM EDT on September 20th. Was supposed to get to me on October 1, but UPS 'lost' it. Apple sent me a replacement and I finally got it yesterday. Worth the wait!

Got it launch day (20th of Sept) at a Best Buy in Newmarket (Toronto exurb). (Was in line at the Apple Store at Upper Canada Mall, but they only had Space Greys left when the ticket guys got to me. So went to a nearby Best Buy where no-one had shown up.)

Had to do a full-price upgrade, and then pay an extra $50 for the unlock the following week.

Has to be my last phone for awhile. Own this and a slate 5 as backup. :)

Ah, no worries. I imagine the NASA site will come back up eventually (insert commentary about how crappy U.S. politics are here).

Should have the gold in my hands tomorrow!

I got it from the shared photo stream for iPhone 5 wallpapers. Let me know if this didn't upload right, but it should be correct. :D

Got mine a little over week ago! I'm loving this shade of gold.

Walked into an Apple Store on a whim and picked up a 32gb Sprint.

No luck for me. No iPhone 5S of any size or colour in stock, and the most unhelpful Genius I have ever encountered. Tells me they don't know when the next delivery is likely to be, but that it won't be today. Contradiction much?

Went to O2, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4 U and they all had at least one model in stock, but said that Apple didn't allow them to sell them without a contract. What? This is a joke, my nearest Apple store is 15 miles away and I can only go occasionally. Really don't want to order online after all these stories of missing iPhones :(

Picked it up on Sept 21st from Best Buy. I did an online order at midnight on 9/20 to be picked up in the store.

How is that a contradiction? I can't tell you the date the iPhone 6 will be released, but I know it won't be this week. See how that works? He knows that they're not getting a delivery today (probably because they already got that day's delivery and there were no 5Ss in the shipment), but he doesn't know when the next shipment that will contain new phones will come in.

Just because you didn't like the answer doesn't mean he was lying to you. And he certainly wasn't contradicting himself.
 
I got an email alert yesterday saying that 5th ave got some 64gb ATTs, but than sold out within 10 minutes.
I have my silver, and I like it, so whatever.
