Who has NEVER dropped their iPhone before?

Yes, my first gen iPhone. I dropped it on concrete a couple times and other times on the rug. It was given to me anyway and was dropped before by my brother who was the original owner.

But my iPhone 4 that I bought brand new? Not once since launch day. Same with another second hand iPhone (first gen) I got since last Oct. I say of the 17 different phones I have owned, I have dropped about 5-6 of them on concrete. The last 5 phones that I still currently own haven't been dropped yet.
 
Nude 3GS slipped out of my shirt pocket twice into concrete floor but that's all. Chrome bezel was slightly marked but nothing else.

Luckily as I was bending over at the time, the drop to the floor wasn't too high.
 
When it comes to dropping an iphone or any phone for that matter, it's just like riding a motorcycle... it's not a matter of "if" it's a matter of "when" you'll drop it ;) :D
 
Never. Not planning on it either. I've been getting by using this little thin cases trying to show my phone off.. But I'm going back to my Otterbox Commuter this week
 
I'm very careful, not careless, but drops happen, at least to me. That's why I use a case even though the naked 4S is a work of art. I marvel at all these people who've never dropped their phones.:eek:
 
I have dropped every phone I ever owned within the first week. I dropped my Iphone 3 on the side walk a few days after I got it. Lucky for me it just got a few scratches. I made it a priority to get a case as soon as I bought any new phone. So far my Iphone 4S has not been drop yet, and I had it for a little over a week.
 
OP here. Well mine finally dropped. I found it on the floor overnight.

With my 3GS, I typically put the iPhone on top of my leather wallet on my dresser. Out of habit, I did the same with my 4S but because the back is so slippery, it must have slid off the wallet and fell about 3 feet onto the hard wood floor from my dresser.

Amazingly there is the barest of dents on the corner of the back plastic. I'm guessing when it fell, it almost fell at a completely horizontal position with the floor because there would be a giant dent if it fell right on the corner.

When going naked goes wrong.

Bet for two minutes you wish you kept a case on it.
 
i've had a few close calls when my hands are really cold and dry, first thing out of bed, but I always have a good grasp on it when I grab it
 
I've had an iPhone for about 3 years and have never dropped it once. Something so expensive is always safley in my grip.
