I have owned a Sport model since last February. At first I was really anal about it and didn't have any blemishes. I finally decided that it's a watch, while I don't want to use and abuse it with normal use there will be some scratches. I have a few micro scratches but they're hardly noticeable, plus it's a watch! Watches get scratched so I'm to going to worry about it.

I Like to consider myself a fairly cautious person, but you're right, watches are inevitable that they will receive scratches. I love my Apple Watch, but even my stainless model scratches fairly easily. But it gives the watch character. So I agree with you.

I don't have any scratches on mine, although I do have a screen protector on the front which you can't see at all, completely invisible:)

Wonder why people are like this with an Apple Watch and not their 'other type' watches, you would never see anyone place a screen protector/case on their Omega watch etc, I think it has to be something to do with having iPhones and trying to keep them in good condition I suppose, the trend passes over

I really do like keeping my watch in tit top condition, it helps for reselling which brings is my main point for keeping it good

This is why I got the Stainless Steel version two years ago, the screen is impeccable, however the case has it's scartches but I don't mind them as much as I would mind a scratched screen.

My suggestion for new watch owners would be to get the cheapest SS version, I kind of went overkill and got the Milanese loop, it's great but you can now find cheap knockoffs (not sure of their quality though) for way less than what apple is asking.

The 316L Stainless scratches relatively easily, but I think it gives the Watch character. And the scratches can easily be removed with a Cape Cod cloth. But the sapphire is worth it in my opinion.
