Noticed front scratches in center of screen after a couple days of what seemed to be the coating and not the glass. It was only in my empty pocket or hand. The phone may have come with them and I just didn't notice. Went to apple and said it came this way and they swapped it. The new one came with a chip/defect on the underside of the glass and they swapped it again. The latest one seems to be holding up. I'm hoping it stays that way until my screen protector arrives. I'm wondering if there is an issue with the coating scratching on some phones rather than the glass. My 3gs is pristine after on year with no protector.

multiple or just one or two?

I was going to start a new thread, but I decided to get on this one since I searched and this is close enough.

Today I noticed my first scratch and it is on the damn glass on top of the camera lense. I am not sure how it got there, but I noticed it by looking closely. No, it is not the LED flash that I am talking about, it is the glass/plastic on top of the lens for the camera. Has anyone else noticed scratches on there?

dude! totally in the same boat. scratch on camera lens kinda irks me. the other scratches, i could care less. but this makes me paranoid, if one scratch can get on already, what happens when that area picks up multiple scratches and starts effecting my pictures? that one scratch can be the beginning of a effed up camera!!
