I drink, yes, but I'm very careful never to have too much - it's no fun getting drunk or even light-headed for me. I prefer to keep my mental faculties at all times.

I drink, but I'm very responsible. I never, EVER drive if I've had more than two drinks in the past three hours.

A couple of beers a night on the weekends with my buddies, and I must admit that I do enjoy getting sloppy, falling-down plastered a few times a year.

Such is the life of a college student, I suppose.

I rarely drink alcohol, and if I do I only drink socially or on important occasions. I'm not too keen on the taste so don't really care for it.

I'm glad to hear some people still have a brain left (I don't mean this in any offense to you). I work at the local radio station, and didn't realize until I started working there how many alcohol-related crashes there are just in my area. In fact, they're so common we don't even put the them on the air unless it's unique..

Last year these two young girls (20-ish) went out to get pizza and a movie for while their family waited at home - they never returned because a drunk driver crashed into them head-on. They died at the scene, and he walked.. I found that quite disturbing...

*never drink and drive*

Once in a while a glass of wine, or a glass of port. Maybe a glass of 43, Baileys, or Khalua. But no beer or hard liquor. Yuck!

I do not drink much hard alcohol. Perhaps a really good scotch once or twice a year.

Ale on the other hand, whew! I brew my own and rarely buy any mass produced ales or lagers.

An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his fools.

WOW… that is very sad. that guy is a murderer and a coward. i hope he ends up in jail for another crime if they never catch him.

to add to this (not as bad) my brother was in a crash recently and he was over the limit so the insurance wont cover the repair for his car and the car he hit. its going to cost him around $15000 and he was looking at buying a house

ive drunk and driven before but ill never do it again. ive tried to tell some mates but it doesnt stick in their head as much as it does in mine.

Wow. macrumors is a pretty dry crowd.

I drink a lot, maybe three bottles of wine a week. and if i'm out at the weekends then its a lot more. But i've never done any drugs. I'm always curious about pot, but i dunno....stoners freak me out.

Back in 1977, I tasted Rum, Gin, and brandy. Could not stand any of them. Other than the cap full then, never have drank and glad of it. If I did drink, with current stress levels, I would get dead drunk on the weekends. And would probably be dead.

Very rarely... almost never, to be precise. Maybe once every two months or so. Not opposed, but definitely not a fan of the obsession.

I drink sometimes, but I'd rather have a Coke. Only time I'd rather have a drink than a soda is when I'm having a big steak or ribs. I have to have my Sam Adams when I'm having a steak.

I've said before but I don't, neither does my girlfriend and a good friend.
Think I've got my sister in on the act too. Yea she's only 15 but she seems to be really against alcohol. Think it's growing up seeing me (teetotaller) go to university, get into a good relationship and generally have a good time. Whereas my bro drinks a lot and there have been many problems associated with it.

Thread... judgement...palpable....like blast of... searing.... hot air..... must.... po...st...... nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....

I used to drink wine before I discovered ale. Could easily down a bottle before I went out.

I haven't gotten drunk in about two years. Tis a shame too, so much fun to drink with your friends in the comfort of a empty house and laugh at the stupidest thing, like a friend plunging a knife into the seat next you and screaming at the top of his lungs.

I don't drink at all but heres a question I don't think has been brought up. Perhaps it's just that most people I know that are the nice looking girls, drink. But question to you know many of you non drinkers commonly hook up with good looking girls as opposed to the ones who do drink?

Also how many of those girls do you know that don't?

It's more so just a general question cause from what I've noticed that seems to be how it is, atleast around here.

We don't know what type of girls you think are "good looking", so there is absolutely no way any of us can answer your question the way you want.
