Just received mine. A fair few scratched on the top lid, which is not subjective. A scratch is a scratch. The screen seem quite dull too - has anyone found a decent profile to change this?
Apple is replacing it...
It's kinda weird that to use notification centre, you have to touch the aluminium, then the trackpad... It's great though and I can't believe how thin and light it is
Hopefully the replacement will be perfect.
pics or it didnt happen
Here's the main bulk of them. There are a couple near the edges too.
Aluminium heheh. You guys still crack me up. In a good way![]()
Because it scratches? If they took more care then there wouldn't be any scratches... I know that once they are there, they are there but I got 2 years with a 2010 model before I scratched it. And that was only when I cleaned it. How ironic!
No, because of the way your pronounce Aluminum.
They don't scratch easily, in fact, I have never scratched any of my iphones, ipads, Macbooks or Macbook Pros after years of using them.
They are clearly banging these parts around with other metal tools during production to scratch them that obviously.

ur sure u didnt make those?
You got me. I worked hard, waited 2 weeks for my new Mac, only to scratch it when I receive it in perfect condition, to then ring apple and wait another 1 or 2 for a replacement.
Seriously, some people on this forum have major issues. I see you like to get compensation of out Apple (did you get that magic mouse after emailing Tim cook?) and I'll be sure not to bother replying to your own threads when you ask for help.
EDIT: A quick look through your posts shows that you had a iPad with tiny, tiny scratches... so you too returned it. What a hypocrite.
I'm in love with my new rMBP! Getting none of the problems people have been complaining about!!![]()

You crack up when you read the correct spelling of Aluminium?
has anyone noticed this coming up in Photo Booth? I can only assume it is a reflection of the camera light..
You should make a thread about that, it doesn't really look too good.
