The screen and speakers are awesome and it’s great to have MagSafe back. I don’t mind a full size function row either and Touch ID.

And it’s pretty light for it’s dimensions

I don’t think I’d be happy with a 14 or 16 inch pro, even price aside
I picked up an open box base 15 at Best Buy and I agree on all counts. As stated previously, the midnight is nice looking but it is so smudgy! I have two more days to return, but the prices have gone back up and there are no other open box 15s in my area. I paid $950 for an Air with 0 battery cycle counts so, it was pristine and basically new.

Still not sure what to do?!

That is an amazing price. I’d keep it. I’d put a clear film on it or clear case if the smudges bother you.

thanks. I was looking at D brand this morning for a film lol. Likely the route I take. Wish silver or space grey was available, but oh well.

unless you really hate it, keep it imo

Not worth paying hundreds of dollars for another color.

That's what I'd do :D

i have the 13.5" M2 Air now. I have the 15" on order and I'm super excited for the larger screen. I use the 13.5" with 2 x 27" QHD monitors, but I work away from my desk a bunch and it will be nice to have the extra real estate. These are work owned systems. I'm not rich. ;) The 13.5" will go to another employee.

You'll definitely like the larger screen real estate for productivity.

after fiddling with all models at the store, it is my opinion 15" Air is the best one in the entire lineup right now.

Strikes the best balance, except maybe value is subjective if you upgrade the specs it can get pricey quick but still.. the 15 worth it to me over either 14/16 pro's for my uses. I also will get by on base specs.

Months on from release I am still happy as hell with my 15'' Air for the purpose I bought it for - to sit on my desk at home or at work

Beyond that? I hung onto my M1 13'' and tend to use that when lounging around at home. At the moment, I am replying to this thread on my iPad Air 4. The 15'' is ideal for sitting on a desk but even for me (I'm a pretty big dude at 6'4) it can be a little awkward to use when not in that office position.

Great computer. I highly recommend it. The weight is balanced well and it is easy enough to carry around all day work. But its larger footprint definitely makes it inconvenient in certain situations

Awesome. Interestingly for me I find the 15” Air to be easier to keep on my lap than the M1 Air.
