There is a poster here who has never heard of Whitney Houston until yesterday.

That was me. I never had really heard of her. I recognized her face and some of her songs, but I never knew the name.

I know who Paul McCartney is though.

--------
EDIT: It's not sad at all if someone doesn't know a name in music. Who gives a crap? If it is true that they don't know who Paul McCartney is, maybe it's because they don't listen to the type of music he produces. You guys know who Kaskade is? If you don't, in my opinion THAT'S sad.

Its sad especially when they could just look it up online and save themselves the embarrassment, probably takes the same amount of time or less than posting their status.

I believe the implication is, if they don't know them they can't be very good. ;)

funny thing is though they may think that but if you would mention the Beatles in connection with his name and point him out they would change that implication because even nowadays everybody knows the Beatles.

whitney who? paul who?

my question is... who are these people and why aren't they on the news instead?

who cares about celebs

My plt sgt.

I hate the fact that people remember these celebs for who they used to be (whitney) and not who they really were. what did she honestly contribute? sorry the post really has nothing to do with paul mccartney as much, more just celebrities and the publicity they receive AFTER death.
