who order a 42mm Stainless Steel Apple watch with Black sports

Which would certainly indicate there were not any production issues with this model.
I'll add in my two cent. Again, it could be nothing or just my luck at my Apple Store. I did notice all of the tethered models were the stainless steel with the sport band, but my store did not have that model available for me to try on. Maybe it was the person who was with me was too lazy to find one.
Again, that's probably nothing but store stuff.
Yea, our 33mm ss bsb thread was shut down by the mods. Guess they too decided it was too small/tiny/looked ridiculous and that we'd be happier here.
Wouldn't it be ironic if we're worried the most because we haven't been charged.. But in reality, we're getting charged last because our model is readily available.

I really think these were already staged somewhere and really didn't need to "prepare" as early as some others. It might not even be until tomorrow when we see something change since they are shipping overnight.
Within 36hrs or so we will all know the status of the mysterious 42mm SS black sport band. And depending how it turns out I will either be incredibly pumped or incredibly pissed.

I believe it's one of the only models that actually had the 4/24-5/08 shipping date that has not prepared for shipment yet. Other models haven't, but they had the 4-6 week or later shipping dates.
I will say that I've seen some users get charged and prepared shipping notifications on different models and they had later shipping dates (Mid-May)
I believe so. There's a spread sheet on another thread and almost every other combination people have had been charged and their watch preparing to ship.
It was the first model I tried on. All I can say for sure is that my store had if for try on. Between the two of us our experiences are anecdotal at best.
The black sports band is the most popular (according to polls on this forum) so it makes sense that all the orders for them couldn't be processed at the same time (different plane, etc). Apple has all day today, tomorrow and Thursday to get them to the carrier. There is plenty of time.
I ordered a 42mm SS with BSB and 42 Sport Space gray with BSB, both before 3:03am on 4/10 and both still indicate processing and expected 4/24-5/8.
Not worried that I won't get them both on Friday.

The employee that helped me was nice, but almost freaked out every time I went to touch the watch. She was nice about it, but kept her hands under my wrist in case the watch decided to commit suicide and jump on my wrist. So, I wasn't going to push and ask her to change the bands.
An apple representative has spoken and this is what they said. In a nutshell.
Status at this time is not relevant to when items will ship. Shipping has been pre-determined. Someone who switched to preparing to ship yesterday, may not get theirs til Monday, and those getting prepared to ship today may arrive on Friday. When the processing changes to preparing to ship, it is done in batches and, again, shipping has already been determined. There are many who may not see a status change until Wednesday, but will still receive their watches on Friday.
