A new day is dawning, we stand together brothers (and sisters) in arms!!!!

Angela Ahrendts was wrong about us not standing in line for the Apple Watch. We are still milling about, only now we're doing it in cyberspace apparently.

Mine is a 38 mm black sport but the moderator redirected us to this thread.

I'm starting to wonder what I did in a past life to deserve this! In fact, I'm also wondering what all of you did too!!

ordered at 08:04 (UK time)
No update

Then again nobody from the UK has seen any movement for any of the versions. Rumours are there may be movement from 1400 onwards

8:15am EST and still no charge or status change. Hopefully we start seeing something at least by tomorrow.

People have mentioned before that other SS models have been processed so it seems like the black sport band is the defining characteristic of this issue. I agree with this. But I don't see it as an issue at all. My iPhone 6 preorder changed status 2 days before delivery and originated from Tennessee not China. I think it's more likely that we are the lucky ones and our orders are already state side. I'm no expert but I assume the sport band would be one of the easiest to manufacture. To have supply constraints on that component seems ridiculous. Also, I would think the SS with sport (entry level SS) would be the most popular SS watch. Isn't it more likely that Apple (with all their business experience) assumed this would be the case as well and got a jump on manufacturing?I booked Friday off work and I'm not even considering cancelling my vacation day just yet.

I am kicking myself so hard for not ordering the 42 SS watch black sports and the link bracelet extra. I got my order through at :02am but the link watches were 5/13 from the gate.

I Agree with this. Ultimately we still have all day today and maybe a little bit of wednesday to make a rush Friday the 24th delivery. At least i Hope that is Apple's plan. Would be nice to be more sure though. :)

I also agree with this...What watch is on display at all the apple stores. I"m pretty sure it is the 42mm SS watch with the black sports band (at least at the store near me). .....So maybe they have been in the states already as others have guessed. Maybe they traveled into the US when all the display models made there way here......Just a guess.

I ordered 3 42mm SS w/ Black Sport bands all in separate orders.

Confirmations at 2:03 CST; 2:04 CST; and 2:05 CST.

No charges or movement yet....

42 mm SS black sports band ordered at 3:04 est 4/24-5/8. Still no charge or change yet. Called Apple and my bank to make sure there are no mishaps. Apparently my bank(pnc) does not show pre authorizations but, apple had it as pre authorized and ready to charge when they do go to ship it. I think we're all just waiting on someone to scan the boxes and that they are here already.

Just a heads up I ordered mine with Apple pay and pnc and the Applepay glitched. I was able to fix it before I lost my spot but it's something you might want to be aware of.

42 SS Black Sport band ordered 15:35 UK time

Despite being late to the party, I still managed to get in the 12/05-26/05 gang...

So no movement yet? Hope we get action today, yesterday they started coming in in the afternoon. 3-5 CST or so.

I agree with you and would point out that they used (at least at my store) the black sports band for the demo units.

Maybe not so much a jump on manufacturing but a jump on the pre-staging as you mentioned earlier.

I really think we won't see these change till later today or tomorrow. For the record I received my confirmation email at 03:02:10 EST

I believe that that's true for all Apple Stores worldwide. The demo units (tethered to special iPad Minis for the purpose of allowing customers to try out the Watch software) were all 42mm SS with black sport bands.
