who order a 42mm Stainless Steel Apple watch with Black sports

It was basically supposed to be a reassuring message that everyone will be taken care of promptly and the system is still working to catch up to the curren statuses.
I'm in the consensus that it will be on time (early date, not later), since it's a collective group that's still behind. It makes sense, to me, that the system is still catching up and everything is still moving forward, even though we can't actually see the progress yet. I'll post when mine changes, but until then, I have work to preoccupy my mind and time. Wish I had a watch to preoccupy my time.
In my case they had no stainless/BSB available for try on, all the try on models were turned off, and the salesperson wasn't very knowledgeable about the product.
I also received a notification for my charger. The FedEx label is being created in Harrisburg, PA. I'm in Ohio.
I guess I'm daft, but don't they come with a charger? I do understand that people would like more than one charger, but maybe I missed something as to if one is with the watch.
Mine has since updated. It is UPS from Harrisburg, PA as well (I'm in Long Island). Wonder if there's going to be an old school fight in the parking lot UPS vs. FedEx.
My brother is a pilot for FedEx, but since my charger is going UPS, I'll have to go against the family on this one.
From my experience (again, completely anecdotal) the guy helping me try on was switching out bands regularly to provide the exact model to try.
Think about it this was. It wouldn't make sense for Apple to provide every single model. It would make sense for them to have a "try-on" kit that would have only one of each band (maybe one of each size) and a select number of each model. It would also make sense that these kits were the same and the number of kits received by each store was simply based of some metric (size, traffic flow, sales, etc.).
This is why to me it doesn't make sense that some stores would have the certain bands and others wouldn't. Especially for one as common as the black sports band. I think it points more to some other issue from that individual store (laziness, using one try-on kit for two people at the same time, etc.).
Needless to say this is all speculation done to pass the time till my 42mm w/ BSB shows some movement
I spoke to a store rep yesterday (wanted to make there weren't any issues with the card etc) and was told something similar.
Also, she said that the Space Gray Aluminum was the most popular.
You get a charger with it. These people probably just want one for either travel or just to have an extra handy.

It looks like charges have started to go through in the UK and across countries in Europe. I haven't looked into it to see if the model we are wanting is in the mix for them.
To confirm, you ordered the SS with Black Sports Band? If so, I didn't realize the shipping started slipping that quickly for this version. I ordered at 2:04 and still got a 4/24-5/8 date.
I work in logistics, importing coffee from around the world. I can promise that these orders are being unloaded per obl, sorted, and then sent out one at a time. This is why we are seeing only certain groups being processed. I wouldn't worry until Thursday 1pm EST. If you don't have something by then, a Friday delivery is most likely out of the cards.
COFFEE?! Now that's something I can talk about. Send me everything you've got.

We in the UK with orders for the 42mm SS BSB are not being charged either

As others have said, I'm in the boat that we will be receiving them on time. If some people were getting notifications rather than no one, then I would be worried. But yes, Apple has me wrapped around their finger.
My 42mm SS w/ BSB was confirmed at 3:08am EST and I still got 4/24-5/8 shipping. My 42mm Space Gray Sport was confirmed at 3:06am EST and isn't shipping until 5/13-5/27. No movement on either one so far.
This is my fear since no SS with BSB have been charged or changed shipping status

Eh, it'd be more comforting if there was another model that hasn't went into preparing for shipment yet....we are the lone wolves right now
