Email received time depends a lot on mail server. Some take 5 minutes or more before they are time stamped and delivered. So an :08 might really have been an :01 order.

Seriously? I'm in Toronto and the only company that does that I know of is DHL.
UPS is Mon-Fri I'm pretty sure. Doesn't matter though, I'm not getting a delivery notice this late on a Friday sadly. I'll hope for a Tuesday delivery if I had to guess.

I'm not trying to instill false hope. UPS is same here in States. However, some businesses have a Saturday delivery with ups. I'm not sure how it works up your way, but Apple has done Saturday's before and someone several pages back posted, possibly fake but hoping not, a reply about Saturday deliveries happening.

So there's something wrong; either (1) you and/or Aarsinic are mistaken about the time your order was logged by Apple or (2) the fill-preorders-strictly-in-the-order-they-arrived idea is wrong. (Possibly his/her e-mail software rounded a 12:03:32 receipt up to 12:04??? If so, you may be right on the brink.)

I don't know if UPS does Saturday deliveries in Canada. Can anyone confirm? Has Apple done Saturday deliveries in the past with other launches? I always line up at the physical store so I've never followed online like this before.
