See a lot of post mentioning 38mm ss bsb arrived to many users, why the combination of 42mm ss bsb is the issue but not 38mm?

Jeez, I thought the Apple chat person I was moaning to earlier was just giving me some generic BS when she kept saying it was "going through the last phase of quality control", maybe there is a problem with the black sport bands.
I'm thinking it might be quicker to order up a Milanese 42 now, it might come before the BSB, I'd want both types of strap anyway, anyone see a reason not to do this, or would it be a waste of time?
Interesting. Just curious, how many of you guys are planning on using the BSB as your everyday band? Anyone out there order another band and just plan on using the BSB as a casual/fitness band?
I only bought it because I thought it would be the simple option and I knew I'd be getting another band later.

I work in a professional kitchen environment, so I'm gonna be using the BSB during work hours. Outside of work, I plan on using the black leather loop. Very comfortable and really well made. Too bad it's not waterproof, otherwise it would be my main for sure.
42mm SS bsb CC charged last nite , this afternoon changed to shipped got email from Apple with the tracking number expected delivery is 27th
I'll be using the BSB as my everyday watch. I have an Invicta for formal occasions. I'll get a black leather loop band once their in store for purchase.
Can that wipe off with some mild dish soap? I don't think a band should be physically discolouring after what two days of use?
I also ordered a SS Link band. I'll where that to work, get a 3rd party brown leather band for casual wear (eyeing the monowear version) and then the black for working out/outdoors stuff. Originally ordered the Link config of the watch (at 12:02 PT) but the delivery dates were already reflecting so much longer so I switched to BSB.

No it cannot. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but it's almost more of a surface change than a discoloration. I think the friction of the bands rubbing kinda sands it down or something. Like when you are cleaning something a little too hard and you put like a permanent shine on it. Hard to explain exactly. I imagine over time it will all look like that and not be as noticeable.

I was originally thinking this. Was going to order the watch with Link band and changed my mind at the alter...wanted to check out all the bands and aftermarket bands before spending extra $$. I reall like the look of the BSB tho...
6 are inbound to TN over the next 10 hours with 2 currently in the air. We also have 4 inbound to AK at the moment which I suspect will feed a number of new TN bound flights in the morning. I've noticed for every 1 flight coming into AK, we tend to have 3 to 4 outbound to TN.
Will use it for working out and casually, gonna order a link bracelet for going out at night and formal events
I've purchased a black leather loop and milanese loop to wear also. I plan to use all three regularly.
There are several of us here that would like for them to keep some of those watches in TN and send them to us.
