who order a 42mm Stainless Steel Apple watch with Black sports

Perfectly describes how I feel. I think I'm done with MacRumors until I get charged. Ugh!

I just got off the phone with Apple and they weren't aware of any issues in this configuration. She said to be patient
Looks like Apple Store is down. Getting this message "We're Sorry.
Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later." Maybe this means us black sport band people will get updated order status'? One can only hope

Yea I think there is an issue with this band color, because I noticed that it wasn't in the store when I was there to try on. I think we will probably get it next week. 
You should not be calling Apple about this. The reps wouldn't know anything anyways. I agree with her. Be patient.

Band color? I see plenty of aluminum space gray ones preparing for shipment.

The black sport band was on all the SS display models at my store.

The SG band pin is black. The SS is silver.
but now its back to normal.. no changes at all.. ppl are crashing store page with continuous F5s....
While I was looking forward to Friday, we had a sudden personal loss so it'll most likely have to wait until Monday before I see anything since it's getting sent to work.

Well true but neither was the SS with the white band. At least the black one was all over the place on the demos
But it is different than the one on the Sport watch. It has a stainless steel pin, instead of aluminum. Just as the gold version has a gold pin. At least that's what I have read in articles about the watch.
Here's my two cents.
I'm sure that Apple saw the SS Apple Watch with the Black Sport band like their "Default" or "Most Popular" so enough of this models should already be shipped and stocked.
If the model is already "shipped" then there's no point in updating the status to "Preparing shipment". I'm guessing we will get status updates later this week.
This particular type of watch should probably be just ready to be "Delivered".
Why Apple doesn't charge for it right now?
Would drive customers crazy to be charged yet not see a change on the order status so they will probably wait until they can update the status to charge for it.

Yes, thats why I said it was on the SS models. The one we have all ordered with no movement yet.
