who order a 42mm Stainless Steel Apple watch with Black sports

Yea I think there is an issue with this band color, because I noticed that it wasn't in the store when I was there to try on. I think we will probably get it next week.
This argument doesn't hold up though:
1. There is no problem producing the black "fluoroelastomer", as we've seen many SG's being charged/prepared for shipment.
2. There is no problem producing the steel pins, as we've seen SS WSB's being charged/prepared for shipment.
Those are the only two parts to the SS BSB's band, right?

Got it. It was the same at my Apple store for the fixed displays. But there was no 42mm SS w/black band to try on, so I had to try the Sport model.
They really should have given the black plastic band a different name than Sport (or the Sport watch a different name).
I think it boils down to the fact that SS 42MM BSB are in a different batch, most likely they are staging everything for tomorrow and the first wave will be dispatched out tomorrow.

Interesting. I saw that pic, but didn't notice the pin before. I guess it makes sense. An aluminum pin would probably be too soft.

Not only are you right about that, but the store describes the band for the Sport watch as having a stainless steel pin. However, only the dark metal sport band is available on the Sport model watch with black aluminum. Of course you could always order it separate and put it on any of the watches.
This means: Our particular black sport band with silver metal hardware is NOT shared with the Sport watch. So we not competing for the bands! I hope that's a good thing...for us.

Now, when does this mean we're getting our @#$*)# Watches?
doesn't really have any bearing on the idea that Apple has stockpiled a lot of SS watches with black sport bands in there destination countries. Might not see any type of notification until Wednesday or Thursday.

As soon as they scrape off the black paint on the Sport band hardware so they can use those bands on our SS watches, I guess. lol
Seems like they are preparing watches in batches based on type. SS + White are starting to be prepared so I'm hoping Black is next in queue.

Just means they are shipping in batches. On apples site showing the SS line, white shows first, followed by black. Probably shipping same way. White first, followed by black early tomorrow morning.
Umm...I think apple is playing with my feelings. I ordered the Black and White sports band for SS. White one this afternoon changed to Preparing for shipping but now went back to processing tonight, while black hasn't changed status at all.... (Charged my CC for white already too).
