Apple store website and app didn't come back online for me till 3:08 and delivery date already jumped to 2-3 weeks...checked BB and ordered mine from there with a delivery date of 11/3!

Be careful with Best Buy. It often says the item is releasing November 3, and to wait for pickup. That doesn't mean it will be at your store for pickup on November 3.
Of course it says that with Best Buy. I would be shocked if you don’t get an email that Friday and says it got pushed back three weeks. Happens every time with target and Best Buy. I will never do that again with them.
Guys I just realized BB sells the iPhone $100 more than Apple....is there anyway we can call and price match it??
Yup should be able to in store. I did that last time with the 7 and got refunded the $100 difference.
Yeah I did that too with the 6s or 6. One of those. i'm mostly just curious now as to whether a full-price AT&T iPhone purchased at Best Buy is unlocked or not... And if AT&T will unlock it for me (post-paid customer) without difficulty.
I’m aware the screw ups with Best Buy, seen plenty of cases. But heck, Apple Store App wasn’t no help at all.. couldn’t verify the carrier.
I got some message saying they reserved a spot, but I was so perplexed by the message... I hit done, I should of screenshot it.
But hopefully Best Buy get it right this time around... I went the process again after I got the email confirmation. And it was sold out at my store, but listed a store that was miles out.
I believe now all the phones should be unlocked except for Sprint. Assuming you paid in full for it, you should be able to freely jump between any carrier you'd like (if you own the CDMA version of the X, you can switch between all 4 carriers it looks like)
Delivery is different. It's the pickup that's REALLY poorly worded on Best Buy's site. It will say "Releases November 3" as you check out. That's not the same as saying YOU will get it November 3.
Same. But people who tried getting through got a Reservation Number... not sure if you had gotten one.
What I can’t quite understand... Apple had closed its store for hours.. at least 4 hours or more. And still had issues, maybe I should of tried buying it outright through T-Mobile, since they didn’t have any carrier checks.
Same. AT&T iPhone X 256GB. Never ore-ordered. BestBuy's site couldn't verify the account holders information. It took several attempts. Also had to disable Find My iPhone. Eventually went through with a pick-up date of 11/03. Got the confirmation e-mail at 3:12 AM. Fingers crossed.
Now when you check the availability of the product through BestBuy most carriers, color and capacity (except Sprint) states 'Coming Soon'.
Glad for those who got theirs in.
Just noticed pick up and shipping got pushed to Nov. 10 on Best Buy for X ATT 256 GB silver... hopefully that’s good sign for us who have launch day pick up
Well, it does give you an estimated pick up date by the 3rd. As I’ve said previously.... what other chances we have when the one method that was recommended by the Apple community didn’t work.
I should of went another option to begin with as soon as by 2:01 a.m. I wasn’t getting in.
