It reminds me of a 96 maxima I used to own, the color would switch from silver to purple depending on the angle…
I have had three gold iPhones in a row. Blue is my favorite color anyway. And this Sierra...... Apple knocked it out of the park. BEAUTIFUL!

My iphone arrived today. Sierra Blue pro max. First time I've choose a colour that isn't black/dark grey/whatever. Glad I went for something lighter.
I got Graphite because it's my absolute favorite color ever on an iPhone.
I skipped the 12 line so I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.

Picked up my Sierra Blue Pro this morning and returned my Graphite Pro this afternoon.
Okokok! You guys broke me! I’m scheduled to pick up a SB 1TB this afternoon!
I have 1 day left to return the graphite phone!
I will give the SB phone a fair shake under my home lighting … if not impressed at home, it’s going straight back!!

I still can’t decide if I would like to keep Sierra Blue or Silver…
I do not trust the color coating on the frame as my 12 Pro Max Pacific Blue had a scratch where I could see the silver steel underneath. Although it was always in the Apple Silicon Case.
The silver gets terrible micro scratches within seconds just by looking at it…. But you are able to polish the frame… First World Problems!

Just be cautious on graphite inventory. They’re getting tougher and tougher to find. I see tons of Sierra Blue since that’s the popular choice now.

I‘m returning my Sierra Blue for Graphite. It’s a nice color, but it isn’t for me. I’m more of the darker shades. All my devices are space gray tones, but it was worth a try to see if it grew on me.
I'm not a fan of the Sierra Blue. Looks even more average in person than in the photos, but that's just my opinion. So, after having space gray/graphite for just about forever, I got the white/Silver thinking the back was actually white. It's not. It's a pretty ugly color to be honest. So be it. I wanted something that wouldn't heat up as fast outdoors and I won't be selling it but giving it to the wife in a few years. I certainly won't be returning it as the phone is perfect - screen, speaker etc are all great. Ultimately it's a tool and it's all good. But I have to wonder who okayed this color at Apple?
Even if I really hated the color I would keep my 13 Pro Max. There are plenty of cases available to hide an ugly phone.

Just read through this whole thread and the sudden turning point in your posts was a rollercoaster. You ended the thread doing what you heckled another person needlessly for in the beginning of the thread. They even theorized that you were projecting your own insecurities and you denounced that. And then proved them right

Sierra blue I believe is truly the best color apple ever dropped. It’s almost like a mix of the space grey and silver with a hint of pacific blue. Almost like a battleship grey. Such a dope color!
I’m going to switch from 13 Pro Max graphite to SB. Not sure about case cover. What case and colors have you gone with?
I hate to say it, but I'm liking it a lot! I may hold onto this for 2 years, unless the 14 is mind blowing, with awesome colors 😂
The way it's reflecting light in my home, gives is an Audi Nardo Grey look. Apple's promo pics really threw me off. I picked pacific blue last time, and was pretty bored with the color...also I'm not a fan of blue in general.
I'm reusing my midnight leather case... seems to work well with it. I'm going to try dark cherry this weekend.
Nice! I am actually going to pick up the same Phone/Case combo tonight. I had an issue with my launch day Graphite PM which I returned yesterday before the 14 days and was able to snag another Graphite PM in store at the same time. I saw a SB Pro Max pop up today and reserved it. Going to see what I like better but also bought me more time to decide as that 14 day window was coming quick. Sounds like you were in the same boat going from one color to the other as I was too put off by what Apple showed in the press renders. I am digging the Nardo Grey if that's how it truly looks....something different.
