I still have my iPhone 4 since day 1. There were only two left in stock, the guy that was behind me took the last one. There were at least 10 people in line for one...

Still have my launch day phone, as does my wife, she has had two replacements in her 16GB model. Hers made a strange noise on voice calls, and the second one had a VERY defective home button. My 32GB however is still running strong, with every piece of info I'll need or want to put on it, got about 14GB LEFT. I'm ready for the 5, but seeing as how this is the longest I've had a phone since my first smartphone, I'll be sad to see it go. I do already have it sold if I want, when the 5 drops. I may keep it as a iPod touch. Seeing as how the iPod is the one thing I use constantly, it kills my battery.

i do. and double clicking home button works really well on my wife's iPhone. she bought it couple months ago and while my first batch iPhone 4 only working 70% when double clicking to bring the multitasking bar, and it's from day one. i guess the later batch has much better home button.
There's no such thing as "bad batch" issues.

Fourteen hours in the blazing heat with no reservation (so no guarantee I would have one) later, I got my beloved iPhone 4 on the day it came out and very much still have the same one. I've recently gone through two back pieces, though, both with the bumper on and both from the height of my lap while sitting in a chair.

Oddly enough, ever since I got the phone I have numerous dreams about the phone getting ruined by water. They are almost always bizarre (in typical dream fashion) and I have no idea why I have these dreams to begin with as I'm not particularly paranoid about my phone (on a scale of 1-10, I'd say I'm about a 6 as far as babying the phone goes).

Who else still has their original launch-day phone?

You are talking about the one that was released 14 months ago, right? I would imagine most launch day buyers still have theirs. I do. No scratches, no breaks, no problems at all.

Before that, I had a 3G. Sold it in near perfect condition when the 4 came out.

It's just not that hard to keep a phone for a period of time without trashing it...

Yeah, I still have my launch day iPhone 4. Actually, it was mailed to me a day before the official launch in stores. I still remember it. Felt good, man.

Still have my launch day Verizon phone. I know that was a tad later than the ATT phones - but it was MY launch day. My first iPhone. Perfect condition - no dings or scratches using a Sena Ultraslim case. When in use, phone is naked - but still as beautiful as day one.:D

My girlfriend and I still have ours. Got in line at 5AM and walked out at 8:30. Phone has been absolutely excellent. No problems whatsoever. Hard to believe I've had it for 14 months already.

Still have mine. Stayed up all night to get the reservation, stood in line for 2-3 hours, & have enjoyed every minute of it since then. I'm definitely ready for a new toy, though! :)

3gs

I still have my 3GS, one thing is I'm dying to get an iPhone 5 asap, because the home button on my phone is completely and utterly busted. :( I have to press so hard just to get it to register. Lucky, activator in Cydia fixes that problem.

I do. It's been the most reliable one so far (I've owned every generation). Never put a case on it and it has no scratches or dents or anything.

I still have my launch day iPhone 4. Waited 16 hours overnight to get one for my wife and me. My wife's has been replaced because of reception issues, but mine is still going strong.

I do! And it's still in the same case since Day 1. I don't know whether I should be proud of that..

Dec. 2007 2G - Drawer of my bedside table
Launch day 3G - being used by GF
launch day 4 - stolen in Oct, currently rocking the replacement.

I know someone who still uses the 2G iPhone- works fine for them, just shows apple products do last if you treat them well!

Yup, as I noted above my 4 was stolen in Oct and I used my 2G while I waited to get a replacement, only thing I really missed was 3G and capacity.

I still have my launch day original iPhone. I waited in line at AT&T for 12 hours for it. It was released at 6pm. It was great. Of course I don't use it anymore but I couldn't give it up. The thing is still in great condition, however, the battery has seen better days.
