After so much talking I really expected it to be super light, but it's noticeable heavier than the mini. Anyway, I'm very happy with my purchase

I've got an iPad 1 3G that lives in a Candyshell since launch.... Boy did that air feel mega light the other day!!!

The other day I had it in my hand, and picked up the kids new mini off the bed. That was the point it felt heavy.

Looking forward to my air arriving, hopefully by my birthday :)

Jezus, some of you won't be happy until your iPads float away in the breeze.

Maybe you need to exercise your arms with something heavier than a TV remote.

The dude was probably trying to be a jackass. Not sure what model Samsung tablet he owns. But their full size offerings are heavier than the iPad Air.

My new Air with it's Smart Case surprisingly feels about the same as my old iPad 2 which just has a thin TPU back cover.

I weighed them and the Air/Case combination was actually 10% lighter!

Don't forget that the iPad rMini will have gained some weight and thickness when it comes out so it'll be even close to the iPad Air.

It gained around 30g. The difference between Air and rMini is still 137g (around the weight of an iPhone 4).

Oh god troll, give me a break! It's WAY lighter than any Samsung tablet. Go get a real job paid Samsung shill!
