I didn't take the day off but I got a different shift to cover my bases. Apple *may* honor my request to deliver to my work in which case it would be required to be delivered before 1500-1600. If they don't, it will be delivered to my house either before or after my shift, based on previous trends.
I wonder what will happen for those of us not able to get off work tomorrow?? UPS usually doesn't get to my house until really late, but I wonder if they'll come early tomorrow? If I'm not there to sign what happens to my phone? Anyone know?
If that's the case there won't be another attempt until Monday. You should pre-sign for your shipment using the form from UPS....that is, if you're willing to leave $700-$1000 outside your door.
No pickups at the local hub? I was about to do the pre-sign thing until I thought about that box sitting on my porch all day. What a perfect day for a thief to go around stealing phones!
Well, in my case, the hub is farther than I'm willing to drive during rush hour and I am not waiting in line since it's the only one that serves my area.
I took friday to tuesday off, but not just for the iPhone 6S! needed time away from work!
Prob gonna take off around noon and work from home. In the last 2 weeks I've spent 1 day at my house, and I leave again tomorrow night on another trip, so really hoping UPS doesn't screw this one up.
I'm off, well working from home, so not the same thing. Only time I have to leave is for my Apple Store reservation for my wife's iPhone. Have the delivery presign filled out and will leave when I have to be gone. UPS for me is either around lunch, or at like 8 pm on a normal day. So not expecting to get mine until late tomorrow.
