So sick of boring Black, and white, Gold is basically same as white. They have so many neat colors for their other devices, why cant they seem to make some different color iPhones now that they are all aluminum?

Just wish they would toss in a few other colors, even with a case they are better then the 3 boring colors now?

It would probably be too expensive to make various colors, unless it was online orders only. I wonder how many of the unique colors of the 5C they actually sold. I swear 95% of the ones I have seen are white.

I see a lot of Yellow, Blue and Green in NJ or at least when I see people with them.

I think they can do a little more with the Aluminum units then plastic colors, but we will see, took them a while to get the White one right after the release of the iPhone 4 and only since the 5 series did we see Gold, maybe by the iPhone 20 we might see one more color....lol

How many colors will be there?

No one will ever know that, but it seems like they have a good thing going with space gray, white, and gold. I would like for a "real" black to make a comeback. We all know people are buying space gray b.c black is not a choice.

I'd love to see more colors. The 5c was one of my favorite phones for that very reason. I was able to get a color that was more personal then basic black or white.

Not sure they will, with all the issues of the paint coming off or signs of scratches and marks, I think they got away from that color for good. I go my 5 in Black, loved it and even in a case I noticed there were signs of wearing on the black, but time will tell. Just think how long it took for them to get white working on the iPhone 4, I guess colors present issues to the devices in some way shape or form?

Well gold is not the same as silver. If you're speaking about the face of the phone though, I agree more colors would be nice.

I guess it just depends on what material they decide to use. It seems like aluminum is hear to stay though.

Not me. I have never cared about the color of the phone because of the case. I would be happy if Apple just makes one color....

one thing I always find odd is the color of the phones on Apple's site is always different from that of the actual phone.

Look closely at the black phone, the metal does not seem as dark or the bands around the phone seem better on their site then they actually do on the phone itself?

I wish they had the old 4th generation iPod nano colors for iPhones, those really bright, vivid colors. Not a fan of the easter colored one's they have now.

Black?

You mean Space Gray with a black front?

Because Apple has not offered black since the iPhone 5. One of the main reasons I am still using the iPhone 5 and did not upgrade.

You need to give up on this. Using your criteria, the original iPhone wasn't black.
I am not "giving up" on my opinion simply because you or others have a differing opinion.

I will also remind you that there are others who agree with me. So, I am not the only one holding this opinion.

Space Gray is not black, even if the front glass is black. If it were black, Apple would call it black and not Space Gray. Lots of people seem to think that Apple can do no wrong and that the Apple way is the only way, yet when Apple calls the color Space Gray these people call it black.

Go figure.

You're fully entitled to your opinion but you're sounding like a broken record by repeating this ad nauseam. The vast majority of people are of the opinion that the original iPhone only came in one color: black.

meh i could careless about the color of my phone. just make the darn thing work for what i need. then i will worry about color. but for now apple just needs to focus on making the phone work

Maybe I am and I have no doubt that the vast majority of people think that.

I do not create these threads just to express this opinion but I also do not use the term 'black' when I mean Space Gray. That was the OP.

So, if I sound like a broken record it's because these threads keep getting created by other users.

I'm actually fine with the selection of colors we get with the iPhone. I wouldn't necessarily be opposed if Apple decided to make more colorful iPhone options though.

I wish they would make a Product Red iPhone. That's all I want

If they did a product red I'd buy it

I wish. Though it's highly unlikely. They do have one product red iOS device though. The red iPod touch 5th gen.

I usually end up customizing my :apple: stuff and making it red in some way shape or form. I miss my red M8 though. Going to a 6 plus. I'll find something to make it red.

Pulled from my Instagram. This was when I had pretty much everything red.
