Who wants to see Apple make new iPhone colors

I wish. Though it's highly unlikely. They do have one product red iOS device though. The red iPod touch 5th gen.

I usually end up customizing my stuff and making it red in some way shape or form. I miss my red M8 though. Going to a 6 plus. I'll find something to make it red.

I don't. Colors are overrated. The 5C has run it's course, now let the colors go.

The thought of blue aluminum housing on an iPhone makes me want to puke.

I would like to see Apple introduce more colors, but nothing like the 5C. Those colors were very nursery. I would like to see more metallic-like i.e. bronze, copper, cobalt, zinc.

Also agree that a real black iPhone would be nice. Imagine the iPhone 6/6+ in cold black instead of space gray. Space gray needs to go.

I think eventually it will happen. Probably next year for the iPhone 7. I think they will add at least two new colors. Give me a RED iPhone! Jesus - that would be SEXY!

I want.....

This is cool however one thing I do not get, how do they decide what color to make the front glass, I mean even though there is gold and white/silver, they both have the same color face. I think this red one would look good with a Black glass face and not white.

Oh well wishful thinking, I think we are stuck with these colors, and for my interest I will use a colorful case, getting the Black/Space Grey and getting an Orange Urban Armor Gear case, nice combination IMO.

Not sure they will, with all the issues of the paint coming off or signs of scratches and marks, I think they got away from that color for good. I go my 5 in Black, loved it and even in a case I noticed there were signs of wearing on the black, but time will tell. Just think how long it took for them to get white working on the iPhone 4, I guess colors present issues to the devices in some way shape or form?

I heard that they struggled with the white iPhone 4 because they couldn't get a white plastic button to match the white plastic underneath the glass body. My 6+ has a white plastic button covered with glass which doesn't match the shade of the white plastic body which is covered by glass. Go figure!

Same. Black front with a red back. I'd buy that in a heart beat. Even if it was an Apple exclusive, I'd buy it. Then I would need to get a clear case for the phone to show off that red back!

The shop that does this is in La Puente, California. Give them a call or email them if you want concrete answers.

Wish I had an all black iphone

This modification has actually made me second guess my decision not to update to the 6+.

I just don't have well over $1300 to drop on a brand new phone in the capacity I want and get this mod.

Even if they made additional colors I would still pick black or grey and still use a black Sedio Surface case.

When we have our weekly meetings we snicker at people with colored phones on the table. Pink does not seem correct I the board room.

I'd love to see a proper black phone as well as a (Product)RED variant.

Thought there may end up being too many SKUs to manage. I can see them adding more colours if they drop the 16GB base model and move to just 32/128 or 64/128 capacities, or if they can get the amount of models of phone needed to cover different LTE bands down.

Black anodizing has been used for firearms and other things for years and can hold up very well.

I'm not sure what Apple did different, but black can hold up well when done right.

To me, the black iPhone 5 was the best looking phone they've ever done.

Try Colorware, they've been around for years.

I think apple should look into creating different colors. And not just back color either. The face color should change.The short time I had a note 4 I really enjoyed my pink phone. Even the bronze was nice.

So sick of boring Black, and white, Gold is basically same as white. They have so many neat colors for their other devices, why cant they seem to make some different color iPhones now that they are all aluminum?

I think you have a good point.

It's probably the lack of cash to fund such a project that's stopping Apple.

Once they become successful they'll be able to afford to do more..ha..ha
