Kinda wished you take your own advice and leave forum policing to the actual people in charge.

Kinda wish you'd do the same as well, since I'm entitled to my opinions. I've been a helpful member here for five years, while you've been a member this month only. My tenure here doesn't entitle me to anything special (obviously) but it does make me tired of people who ask useless questions over and over. What is the point of this thread? Who here is going to have both an iPad and an iPhone? Cool!

Look, this guy starts 10 pointless threads per day. Just pointless. Look at the wasteland. You must have missed his great "Is the iPhone 4 out yet?" thread.

I absolutely LOVE my iPad. It is a great alternative to lugging around my computer. I use it while waiting at the hospital, road trips, school, etc. My mom tries to steal it, haha. :) As for the iPhone 4, my mom, dad, & I will be upgrading to it. I've done a wonderful job at turning them into geeks. :p

He really does start a lot of threads, most of them pointless. But I'm not sure he has anything else to do?

Just wondering who, come June 24th, will be owners of both an iPad and an iPhone 4, representing the best that Apple has to offer!!! :D :)

Which device will you use internet for mostly? As beautiful and CRISP as the iPhone 4 screen is, the iPad will still be the better browser experience with its large screen, so I will probably use iPad more for the net, and the iPhone for everything else.

I got my 32 gb wifi iPad on launch day and I'll get my black iPhone 4 on launch day. My iPad will continue as my main Internet device.

Just don't get why people have to post on threads that bother them. Move along. Course your entitled to your opinion, but any one has a right to post, good or bad. And I can careless how long you have been posting, doesn't give you more rights than a any other poster out here.
Your posts like these are just as annoying and a hint of high and mighty to it.

Iphone 4 is going to bring a lot of new people to forums like this, and maybe you have seen this type of post lots of times, doesn't mean others have and would like to reply to it. And maybe I'm being a hypocrite, but I just get tired of people that feel they can dictate whats a good or bad post. I have no problem with you telling him you dont like the post, but it has just as much right to be here as yours.

64gb 3g ipad here, currently have 32gb iphone 3gs and plane on preordering the iphone 4 32gb, might even get a second one for my wife so we could video conference with each other :)

Got my iPad...

Oh, you can care less? Great, let me explain. I already said my tenure here didn't entitle me to more rights, it simply made me more aware of people who start pointless threads. Like this one.

This thread is literally asking people if they will have both an iPad and an iPhone. That's it. What is the point? Is there any question or commentary on how they interact or complement each other? Anything? No.

Maybe reading wasn't your strong point but I see lots of people stating how they will use either device in compliance with the other take a look

Add me to the list. I'll have my iPad for mobility around the house and my iPhone for everywhere else. For me, it's the perfect combination.

I'll still use the iPad for more Internet stuff, but looking forward to the A4 in the phone; coming from the 3G.

Yep, this is the year of Apple for me. *I had been debating on whether to get a laptop or not, then the iPad came out. *I know some people think I'm stupid for this, but the iPad works better for my mobile purposes than a laptop. *Anytime I need a serious computer, I use my desktop. *The iPad is great for vacation and other mobile needs.

It's time now to upgrade from original iPhone to the new model. *The Edge network just isn't fast enough to be useful on the go, and the original iPhone processor is just getting bogged down by some of the new apps.

I will also have both. I use my Ipad in college alot and love the battery life it has. Also wonderful for reading web pages for research.

hmm would you look at that Four people that have stated what device they think will be best suited for their situation at hand.

32 GB iPad 3G and 32 GB iPhone 4! Yeah, I like Apple stuff. What can I say?

I'll lean towards the iPad when I have it with me, or for heavy typing, but on the road the iPhone 4 will keep me going!

Not me :(
but when I think about the iPad... I think about the device I take in the bathroom every time I have to go #2...

iPad is usually at home and i agree, it's not up to par yet but it is very convenient for just browsing the internet. I rarely use my laptap now. I only go on it for real work or to upload my raw photos. Very excited to upgrade my 3G to the iPhone 4.

I have the ipad and love it! I only got the wifi model so i'm hesitent to jump straight into the new iphone since i use mywi teathering. I have a 32gig 3GS that suits my needs and unfortunately (even though i'm the primary of a family plan) i wasn't one of the lucky elligible for the 199/299 pricing. So either way I'd have to wait until i saved up for one, but I'd want to make sure it was jailbreakable and mywi was fully functional on the new phone, because that is a total dealbreaker for me if it doesn't for whatever reason.
