Me me me me me!

I'm greatly looking forward to replacing my 4s with something comparably pocket-sized. I admit, I don't quite know how I'm going to get by without a barometer on my person at all times, but I'll sort something out.

When u think about it it's basically the antithesis of the 5c. 5c had new casing and exactly same internals of the 5. The se had old casing but new internals of the 6s. I'd rather get the latter.

Space grey 64gb next week! Been waiting for Apple to make a "new" 4" phone for awhile now as I prefer the size. The SE fits the bill almost perfectly! Would have preferred an upgraded screen with the advancements the 6s screen recieved (notice I didn't say anything about resolution? Because the resolution is perfect where it is..... High enough to not see a grainy screen and low enough to not impact performance. I'm tired of the constant complaining about screen res) and would have preferred a 2.5d glass but other then that the SE is perfect! And if apples battery data is to be trusted it might actually be the best iPhone battery I have ever had! (Only had an iPhone 6 and not 6 plus)

I'm getting a 64 GB Rose Gold for my wife. It's hard to believe she wants one as she has been diehard android and Samsung for damn near 6 years...

64gb Space Gray, can't wait!

This is cool. Is this from some movie?

I can't decide between gold and rose gold so I want to see it in person before buying.

I am ... I was going to go with the space grey, but I decided to rock the rose gold again and go back to space grey whenever the 7 comes out lol. Keeping the SE as back up.
dude u think the way i think. i have the RG 6s+ now. I'm really on the fence if i should get the se.. but if i do, i'm thinking rose gold again since its just a cool color. i thought about getting space gray too just to change it up from the 6s+ but then again, id just get the space gray 7.

both are cool color.. rose gold right now is hot. but then again, i'm wondering if the gold is the same color as the 6 series or the champagne color of the 5 series.

I'm looking to get a 64 gb space grey but I won't be preordering since we will be out of town during delivery. I might hit up an Apple store or two while we are away to see if I can score one, if not I'll order one when we get home.

In the meantime I'll be very interested to read everyones first impressions.

toy sized iPhones is why I switched to android several years ago. No way am I going from 6S+ to a puny 4" phone

No. I'm happily waiting until September with my 6s Plus for the release of the 7 Plus :D

Hope you all enjoy your special edition phones though!

- It does not have 3D Touch
- It does not have a Barometer
- Front facing camera is still 1.2mp
- Does not offer the 128GB model
- First iteration slower TouchID sensor
- No dual domain pixels
- No LTE advanced
I am getting one for an 11 year old daughter. Hasn't been ordered yet. She wants a silver and we are still deciding which storage size she will need.

For her use nothing on that list is of concern except for the front facing camera not being the latest and greatest when she FaceTime calls her best friend. Still, that's not a huge deal.

If I were the one getting it, I would be concerned with no 128 GB model and the first iteration Touch ID sensor, which never worked for me. At all. The new sensor works well for me. Those two things would possibly be deal breakers if I were in the market for an iPhone for myself right now.

The screen is too small for me to care about dual domain pixels. I never cared before when I had a 5S and won't care now.

No LTE advanced is a bit of a bummer but that's still new to me anyway.

I don't often use 3D Touch. Frankly it seems to make the screen response a bit spazzy for me.

I don't know what the barometer does.

Probably more about selfies than FaceTime.

Pressure?
Oh if it's just for selfies then no biggie. We are a selfies-hating family. Probably because we have a cousin who does that hideous duck-face thing on Facebook. That will put you and your kids off doing selfies if you have somebody acting like a Kardashian in the extended family.

Oh I finally made it over to the thread about the barometer and now I know what the significance is. It's useful but we can live without it. My kid is so active in sports she's not concerned about tracking what she does. She's too young for that.
