Yes, I am buying the 128 gig model.

The reason is simple. The storage size is the most comparable to being very much like my old iPod that had 160 gigs of storage space.

One thing I have missed since I stopped using the iPod is having huge space on my iPhone. This is a dream come true for me.

Plus the iPods have old hard drives compared to speedy flash. I have finally get to have the best of both worlds for the first time in a long time.

Especially with the talk that even the 6 Plus only has 1GB RAM, I'm holding out until there are 256 GB or larger models with more RAM.

128GB is not enough to replace an iPod yet, especially when half that space is going to be used by photos, videos, and apps.

For $100 more I went with the 128GB option this year. Although I don't think I would even come close to using that much. It will be nice knowing that it is at least available to me should my storage needs increase over the next year or two.

Which phone are you keeping? Is it a 6?

first had a 16GB iPhone 4, thought that was enough, then 32GB iPhone 5, thought that was enough. This time I said screw it and got the 128GB iPhone 6 and i'm at about 70GB free lol

being able to store all of my music and videos on my phone with out having to use itunes mach and drop my amount of data is well worth the 100$ bump in price

I did the 128 gb model but only because I load up full seasons of TV shows onto it. It just means that I don't have to worry about crazy deleting anymore.

128 is ideal for my heavy usage.

Unfortunately I'm not willing to gamble with over one thousand dollars and burn my upgrade over a soft, fragile bendable phone.

I'm so lucky that I was on Twitter when the first bent iPhone 6 appeared today. I was on the AT+T customer service line confirming wait times and ready to go online to order since there are no phone orders.

What now?

No clue, Apple really screwed up. I don't buy all the excuses.

They bend!

I originally preordered a 64gb 6 with verizon but after being told I'd have to wait until the end of October to get it, I decided to see if my local store had any 6s in stock. Low and behold they only had 128gb models in stock so I threw caution to the wind and went for it. Coming from a 16gb 5, I grew tired of having to clear apps/music for iOS updates so this should serve me well. After I moved everything over, I still have 103gb left :)

The odd thing is that my phone now has as much storage capacity as my macbook air

128 because who knows what the hell i may need space for,

also, resale value will be higher.

It's called "future-proofing." I went 128GB even though I currently only have about half my 5s filled and it's only 64GB. Plus the max storage is always easier to sell later on. I'm thinking 64GB would have been plenty for me again, especially with the ability to offload storage to iCloud Drive, but for only an extra $100 it seemed silly to not get the max storage. In for a penny, in for a pound!

I'm shocked (probably shouldn't be) that Apple went with 16/64/128. Why drop the 32GB option? They should have dropped the 16GB and went with 32/64/128. It can't cost them significantly more to produce 32GB phones vs. 16GB phones. They made a statement with the 128GB. "Folks need more storage." So what's with the 16GB?

Got the 128gb iPhone 6 to maximize potential resale value. I'll never fill up even a 16gb phone...but I know I can flip this one easily when the 6s comes along in a year or so.
