Scribe, to be honest with you there are a lot of old classics to admire, but their new models are lacking the old patina. I agree. Like Doxa...

Really, it is a terrible pity. Bling bling, and loud flashy designs, instead of the subdued and elegant classics of the 1950s and early 1960s. Not at all a fan, I must admit.

Actually, I saw the most recently issued (or produced) Tudors, and thought them perfectly horrible. And agree re Doxa, too. It is a sad state of affairs, really.

Happy to clarify. Years spent on Timezone(dot com), among many other horological sites, will strangely affect ones knowledge base.

I work in a retail store too but I honestly enjoy doing what I do and enjoy talking to reps and getting to know about new products

Are any of you guys familiar with 'fakewatchbuster' on Instagram? Its a good laugh watching him call out posers who try and pass off fake watches as the genuine article. He's had s few rappers and supposed jewellers to the stars who have been caught out. He sometimes gets a lot of flack, especially from the replica community but the major watch companies applaud him. Worth a look
