Didnt order my Tag Heuer Monaco yet, but I did order a new watch for myself. Always wanted a white watch, but something a little different than what I have, so I went with this:

Its going to be in the 30 pound box my cousin sends me from NY, along with clothes, shoes, and lots of other goodies. Cant wait!

Men are so lucky when it comes to watches.

Women get bedazzled dials with swarovski crystals surrounding it. I wish there was a women's brand dedicated to classic timepieces that aren't overly ostentatious.

Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels and Piaget.

Why not just buy a mens watch then? Isnt oversized watches for women the new style now?

I have/am contemplating it [looking at a simple leather watch by Hamilton though their dials are a bit big. The Lady Hamilton dials are too small for me]. I'm just annoyed that few watch designers see a market for women who don't want watches that look like this:

Yep, oversized or "boyfriend" watches are the trend now. I'm looking for something classic though that I can wear year after year.

Mine is a Seiko Velatura Kinetic Direct Drive. Robust and well put together. Also like Richard Mille and Panerai.

But I've got eyes on a Heuer Monaco. :) Can someone help fund the purchase of a 4.9L 5 speed manual Porsche 917 Kurzheck to go with it - preferably in blue/orange colours of the Wyer team.

Definitely not as nice as most of the watches on this thread but it is exactly what I wanted... :p And I totally agree with you timerollson... pink and bedazzeled is not my preference.
