I'm still waiting to see if they come out with a Pepsi version.

Ah, the old Pepsi one is really nice looking. Red is daytime and blue is for nighttime (on the 24 hour bezel for the 2nd time zone), right? I like the ceramic bezel with the platinum. A bit more conservative, but not as common as the Submariner.

I have my 5.11 tactical watch that I already posted above, but recently I felt the need for another G Shock. I saw someones post in another picture forums "recently purchased" and went ahead and bought the G Shock

should be here in about a week or two, bought off amazon.

but what I want is:

Even if I did have enough money for a watch like a rolex, I'd never get a one. Nothing says "I'm a tool" more than one of those.

I don't think many would agree. I'd say most would think a G-Shock more tool-ish since teenagers wear them. I have both a G-Shock and a Rolex though, so I'm a tool no matter how you slice it.

A Tag Heuer my parents bought me in the 80's, and a Swiss Army Seaplane I got around 10 years ago.

I had an opportunity to buy one of the old Pepsi new, but I passed on it. Probably a bad decision looking back on it now. I don't like the new Submariners and think the new GMT looks better. I'm still wearing my platinum yacht-master. I wonder when that will get an upgrade.

Beautiful watch. I am not a fan of the gold portions....make it all silver or gunmetal and I'd wear it.

You are looking for the stainless steel Daytona. Difficult to find at retail price.

Haha, good point. I only wear them in uniform. Everyone is a tool in uniform. Now if I was given a Rolex I'm pretty sure I couldn't say "No, no thanks, I don't wear rolex watches." So I guess I'm on the same workbench as you sir.

Now that's a nice watch, and my family thinks my Seiko watches are expensive.

The Yacht Master is probably my favorite Rolex. Both of my sisters have the full gold Daytonas and love them. But that watch is really flashy... its like a chunk of gold on your wrist. One has it with the rose gold face and the other with the black face. (as a guy, I like the black face a lot).

And I actually like the blue bezel submariner with white gold and the green gold (face/bezel) sub, but the plain steel one isn't my favorite. Also, the GMT is also more 'complex' then a basic steel watch with the bezel and 2nd time zone, but still conservative and simple.

Now that's a nice watch, and my family thinks my Seiko watches are expensive.

My first adult watch was a Seiko. I got it on sale for $100 at Service Merchandise when I was in college. It was a good watch until I got the battery replaced and they didn't seal it properly so moisture got into it.

Until a few years ago, I thought it was crazy for anyone to spend over a thousand dollars on a watch. Now I am wearing $12k on my wrist and I still can't believe it somedays. Besides my wife, no one in my family knows how must it is worth. Even among my friends, only those who are into watches know what I wear. It isn't something I usually share with people and the reality is 99% of people wouldn't recognize a Rolex if they saw one.

Hi guys, anyone here know wich watch is this one?Saw it on a blog called convoy, but couldn't find the name...searched on tinyeye but nothing...
It could be my next "nice watch" to post here :p

I believe that's a Panerai. Probably a Luminor. Not really sure it's weird that it hasn't any branding on it. (My bad there's branding on the second pic)

Edit: It's probably a copy of a Panerai 112.

Conclusion, it is not going to be my next watch, unless I buy a replica :p

The blue/blue white gold Submariner is a great watch but at $31K. I could never buy one since there are so many watches at that price range that are superior. But that is my other favorite Rolex aside from the simple yet understated Explorer I. My next watch will be a white dial watch though.

it a little bit to get use to.. next year maybe ill spent about 2000$ on a real good looking watch like a NIXON

I'm guessing that's the ceramic Nixon watch. I could never spend that much on a Nixon.

One of my favorite white dial watches is the Tag Heuer Grand Carrera with the white face. Not sure if you mean face when you mean dial though.

I personally would get the full gold Date Just II which runs in the 30s over the 30k sub. I really like the green gold bezel sub and the two tone gold/stainless steel sub as well as the GMT Master II of the same style.

I'm only 18, so I'm more into sports watches, not dress watches, but I assume that when I get older and have my own money to spend I'll hopefully be able to afford a collection of both.

Yes I meant white face. I've been looking at IWC for my other watch. But not 100% decided yet. Not into gold watches or two tone but the blue/blue only comes in white gold. $8K I can do but $31K is just crazy. Been looking at a ton of watches and it's pretty addicting.
